ACORE Thread: Learning DISCERNMENT (2016 thread)

"Sources tell Univision that Trump plans to announce a major shift on immigration policy next week..."

Let's wait until we hear what he actually says, before criticizing it, shall we?

I think we need to avoid reaction to a lead like that

"Our consumer driven, consumption driven form of capitalism isn't working anymore."

I would put it differently:

+ The Democratic model, with the state as father is not working, and

+ Or system of politics, with politician BOUGHT by the big donors, including foreign donors, is not working

What's needed is :Leadership, and that starts with identifying real issues, not distracting us with fake ones,

Trump is openly talking about BOTH problems, and in fact gave two great speeches this past week:

1/ Spoke about Law and Order and how Democratic policies have fail American and Afro-Americans in particular

2/ Spoke about Foreign policy and the need to move away from Globalism to Nationalism

By contrast, Hillary's Democrats are telling us what a great job Obama has done.

Do you see a difference??

Judge Jeanine sees and difference. You might want to hear her talk about it, and listen to her interview with Mr Trump

Judge Jeanine Pirro 8/20/16 | Donald Trump Interview: Judge Jeanine Opening Statement

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xT94zTi0wY

According to the Judge, the LA Times just released a poll showing Trump ahead of Hillary by one point

Actually, Trump's spokesperson responded to the question about deportation with "to be determined." Sounds an awful lot like the beginning of walking back that promise he made over and over during the primaries. This wouldn't be a big deal except that the repeated claim that he would deport all 11 million of them appears to have been a big selling point with those who voted for him in the primaries. "To be determined" is a surprising step back from a campaign promise.

If he is going to walk back to some degree, it is more honest for him to do it now before the election, than afterwards

I think his new speeches on foreign policy and law and order may be resonating well enough that he has flexibility to do this to some degree.

But obviously, if it is a 100% walkback, it will not look great

You still have left hanging out there - my proof that Trump as a new message, and represents real change.

So I presume you are agreeing with that

8-22-16 – MARGIN CALL: A MOVIE ABOUT CAPITAL CRIME

Published on Aug 21, 2016

Friday night I watched a movie entitled, Margin Call. I had thought the final part of the video with David Icke would be shown; but that did not happen. Instead, I had to sit through a movie about economic criminals on Wall Street. However disturbing, it was interesting to see how they play the sick game of capital crime, stealing money from people by lying, convincing them that they could make lots of money. The only ones who made lots of money, $1.2 million each, were the criminals selling the fraud; and they knew it was fraud. Still, they played their roles. A thief and liar by any other name is still a criminal; and these were masters of deception. They are not alone. That's how our insane world works. To me, it's devastating.

(this look like one I will want to comment upon after I listen to it.)

Everyone on Wall Street is not a criminal. In fact, from my own experience, it is a tiny minority. But there are some pockets (investment banking, mortgage broking) that seemed particularly infested by greedy people. To be honest I saw very few as greedy and corrupt as RVD has shown himself to be, in the way he defrauded the bank of the value of a home, using a home where he had the keys and a cover story - but did not have free and clear ownership. If Ron had the opportunity to get a Wall Street job he might easily have been one of the rare greedy ones.

I have no idea if Trump has a new message. He has seemed to several times, only to return to the old message.

As for the immigration issue, we have only to wait until his Thursday speech to see what "to be determined" means. Perhaps that comment by his surrogate was to float the idea of a walk back to see how it plays before that Thursday's speech.

"I have Sunk ro the Level where... I Question everything"

(I think I would say: "I awoke and ROSE to the level where I question everything" - but not Ron)

8-23-16 – WE'VE BEEN LIED TO ALL OF OUR LIVES

Ron says:

"A couple of these like RuSA and OPPT I still think were providing a real alternative to the gross criminality of our familiar system of corporate governments that infest every aspect of our lives"

It amazes me that Ron can still say good things about RUSA or OPPT.

OPPT was a scam which promised to handout $6 Billion to everyone, by redistributing "Our" wealth, the wealth of the planet..

The fact that the acknowledged wealth on the planet is less that $100,000 per person, never stopped these OPPT scammers from making their odd promises

Trump is definitely not racist but America has a problem with ISIS and other paid mercenaries, mafia and guerrilla troops [compliments of Soros] and Mexico's other rejects crossing over the border. Mexico is getting the blame for more than people wanting a better way of life.

http://madworldnews.com/thousands-muslims-caught-border/

FACT check : Under the Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony, punishable by up to two years in prison. Immigrants who are deported and attempt to re-enter can be imprisoned for 10 years. Visa violators can be sentenced to six-year terms. Mexicans who help illegal immigrants are considered criminals.

The law also says Mexico can deport foreigners who are deemed detrimental to “economic or national interests,” violate Mexican law, are not “physically or mentally healthy” or lack the "necessary funds for their sustenance" and for their dependents.

I have a friend from Honduras who went to Mexico for a better life and then America for an even better life walking the whole way. He had to go to New York after paying thousands of dollars and years of waiting to become a citizen the "legal" way. I miss him horribly !! When Arizona started screaming about the wall and deporting- he knew it was time for him to exit stage left. It was also when those who were tormenting my little township left too. Thank God !!!

Most of our businesses were closed down by 2012 here because it was no longer safe...the Mexican mafia....another form of paid mercenaries like ISIS compliments of Soros, decided they loved our little quiet country way of life and took over. One of my friends has already gone through 6 surgeries to reconstruct her face. She'll never look normal, and she was so beautiful before.

I'd been saying for years it's not just Mexican's crossing the border and since I live in a border state I have a bit more clout with my words. I love the Mexican people and their beautiful culture but that's not all we're getting. Trump has said from day one "until we get this figured out" and now that he's fired Manafort and said he's going to do the rest "his way" we'll see he's not racist. We've got to get past racist and look at facts, just because some of us live in a state that sees -0- of this doesn't mean it's not happening elsewhere. Doesn't mean it's all Mexican's either but the fact is, they're crossing over from the Mexican border.

Let's have laws that Mirror our neighbors.

So why not impose on Mexicans the same law they have for those who cross their borders?

RVD has spent years confirming his bias. Instead of doing anything productive, or actually getting out and working toward his "dream," he has spent hours on the Internet reading stuff on the Internet and watching Youtube videos that support his beliefs. Anyone who suggests he might be wrong is instantly labeled the enemy and made to disappear. He keeps saying that only "god," an omnipotent being, can fix the problems on earth, but continues to chase any scam that promises him some money.

Rusa was a scam perpetrated by the original "Guardian Elders" to fleece the Rubes. Tim Tuner later hitched his horse to the movement to take advantage of folks who actually believed that a bloodless coup was possible to take over the U.S. government. It was never viable, just a bunch of folks engaged in an Internet role playing game, a toxic mix of all the SovCit and Patriot theories crashing against the reality of the real world. Of course RVD would like it. He was the Secretary of State of Florida, after all! What's a narcissist not to like about such an exalted title?

OPPT started as another scam that ended when the founder, Heather, went totally bunkers insane. Her reams of total nonsense "documents" were mostly incoherent "5D" new age nonsense. RVD can't seem to grasp that you can't impose your will on others simply by sending them official sounding paper. You can't just tell the government you've "foreclosed" on them and actually expect them to acquiesce. RVD is not quite as insane as Heather was, but he is heading in that direction.

Sadly, instead of fighting banker wars, America could have come to the aid of their neighbors and sent troops in to counter the guerrilla's. Some people get angry when you speak about borders, saying the world belongs to us all, I get that, it does -but- the different cultures we all have on this planet we live on would be lost if we did.

I'm not sure our "neighbors" would want us to send in the drones and kill thousands of their civilian population. There is that whole sovereign thing that the U.S. doesn't seem to apply except to themselves.

You've got that right...no longer do we send in ground troops until the devastation has happened and they get to see what the drones did.

So, Trump said last night that his plan to deal with illegal immigrants now is to "do what Obama is doing."

ROTFL. You just can't make this stuff up.

Could you explain what you mean here Thunter?

Not hardly. He's talking about those already here....he's not talking turning a blind eye and letting them in like Obama did by sending national guard to stand in one spot where they weren't even crossing but to do nothing if they see them or to come to our (the bordering states) assistance by making signs that say "not safe area to be in" or cutting down the number of border patrol employees or suing my state because we were against them crossing in the first place. He can't do anything for the damage Obama has done but his stance is still on BUILD THAT WALL to prevent more of it.

Donald Trump isn't going to build a wall. The U.S. can't afford it (either in the billions of dollars it would take to literally build it, or in the severe economic consequences to the U.S. of doing so). He is going to walk back that also.

Soflywinged, Trump built his entire campaign on a few simple assertions. That he would mass deport 11 million illegal aliens, and that he would restore law and order to the U.S. That he would bring all the jobs back to the U.S. He just acknowledged he cannot do the former, the latter seems to be predicated in his mind on increasing police presence in black communities. That's not going to happen either. You will soon see him walking that back as well, as he tries to get more than the 1 percent of black support that he currently has. As for bringing jobs back...there are no jobs to bring back. The world has changed in the last 15 years. Technology has changed everything. He is a fossil living in the past, as is Clinton.

There is no good for option president in this election.

RVD, in every ranting video, simply shows himself more and more as a coward. He insists that god has to fix things by divine fiat, or things will never be fixed. He curses the darkness from the safety of his son's bedroom.

Karl Marx had it about 90 percent right. He clearly defined the real economic problem. He failed however in the same way that all Marxist writers seem to in that he offered no viable solution. One thing he did understand, though, was the only way to change society, to remove capitalism, is through revolution. Those who are keeping all surplus value for themselves are not going to give it up by being convinced with words to "do the right thing."

RVD keeps, repeatedly, ad nauseum, defining the problem. But he is a coward, and unwilling to promulgate revolution. That would come at personal cost to him. So, he wants "god" to make it happen, peacefully, instantly, redistributing the wealth so he can buy himself another house, travel the world, and get his share of those 72 virgins so he can give up his pornography habit.

Ron, if you want something to happen, get out from behind that computer, get out of that bedroom, and make something happen. You are preaching to the choir. Your audience is just like you, though, and seem content to play victim while talking the problem to death.

Forget the media, either left or right leaning. Forget, even, how the candidates are justifying their claims. Just think about them.

My dad worked for a Texaco refinery for 41 years. Back in 1970, there were over 4,000 employees at this refinery. When he retired, there were only a little over 400. Yet, the refinery was producing more product than when he went to work there. Why? Automation. He retired as an operator. There used to be dozens of building scattered throughout the plant manned by seven or eight operators watching gages and adjusting processes constantly. When he retired, there was a single room manned by a handful of people sitting at computers. You can't bring those jobs back.

You can't convince businessmen to reopen cool mines that have no way to compete against natural gas, which is much less expensive and burns cleaner. No president can force businesses to lose money to bring back jobs.

Nobody is going to open up the old fashioned steel production facilities we used to use that took hundreds of workers with good salaries to produce steel, when the mini-miills that are now used can produce the same amount of steel for much less money with hundreds fewer employees.

No businessman is going to bring jobs back to the U.S. where they have to pay wages that are non-competitive with the rest of the world, especially if you tell them you are going to introduce tariffs to level the playing field for them, making everything prohibitively expensive for consumers to buy. That's a lose-lose for manufacturers. Any president attempting it would be guaranteed never to be elected again.

Ignore the media, whoever they represent. Trump's "solution" to everything appears to be to turn back the clock to a "better time" that, if it ever did, no longer exists and will never exist again. And in 10 years, technology will have advanced so much that even this conversation will seem silly. Everything has fundamentally changed, and solutions to the future will not be found in the past.

Oh please, far from being in decline, coal has been growing rapidly as one of the world's most used resources. I can't get natural gas where I live, I'm forced to pay the high cost of propane.
Coal is proving critical in the world's energy growth. The need for coal is ever increasing, and ever larger %'s of electricity produced in the world is becoming reliant on power plants that use that resource. Regardless of the enormous distribution of coal reserves worldwide, these amounts are proving to not be enough. Yes in 10 years, but we need it NOW. Maybe you should ignore 'your' media.
