  1. Horrid year, that really bought home the lack of water causes issues. Never before in the U.K have I struggled with such a poor “harvest”; everything I grew was smaller and yielded less, all down to the lack of rainfall. Even the strawberries struggled
  2. Wow, I mean WOW!!!! Maiden (half year) dividend today of 3 cents announced along with the previous news flow book marked Sunday and so much more. Want to see 2 Cheshire cats?
  3. Just thought I'd bump my favourite gold oldie. Still staggered this has not re-rated but suspect the time is nigh! Why? Multitude of reasons such as last weeks anouncement Geotech going to undertake an airborne survey of the entire Gedabek territory with a view to proving up more detailed JORC, (possibly the mine life has held it back being objective); bear in mind a 3 year exploration program isalready underway to do just that and initial results due this quarter. Otherwise and importantly, a dividend was signalled and due to be announced i suspect this week (19th), along with interim results - we already know they have gone cash positive this quarter. This company is throwing off cash with A.I.S.C's at around $600, how cheap is that? Prinicipal directors have first mover in country advantage, excellent ties and large personal stakes in the game. Finally they are ramping up the P.R game, suspect somewhere down the line they might look to get instituional support, seem to be pressing more flesh to get the S.P up. Midas has just tipped it some a likely P.I bounce will come, along with no doubt some retrace. However, such a small free float, anyone wanting in has to buy on the open market currently, all these factors are going to lead to buying pressure. My reward has been good for perseverance but there is so much more to come - this week could re-ignite interest with shares stuck in the mid 40's range really since I last posted.. http://www.angloasianmining.com/home/
  4. Ride your winners (even if you sell half, top slice etc) and cut your losers would be my advice to anyone new at trading or investing.
  5. Really good call Dr B. Was sat dithering early May, considered for a long time, still tempted but I wonder if that breakaway gap could be back tested?
  6. First assault on 50p today, rear view results due around end of week, next Op’s update will be far more telling.
  7. Glad you persevere Dr B. Rarely post on any bulletin board these day, though I probably at least weekly view this section, occasionally selective threads in the General section. Just a case of life & family priorities, so I’m largely a lurker now but thought I’d say I still look in.
  8. Changing picture of AAZ, they are about to migrate from fledgling company to mid tier this year. Guidance for 2018 drilling program and on-going op’s later this month going to reveal a lot more. Market slowly waking up. Long left the 5p lows of 2016 but at current low 40’s a market cap c£50 odd is plain cheap. Debt could be gone this year if they choose, profits storming in and true potential nowhere near reflected in price. Cant wait.
  9. Impending news at AAZ, like this chart posted on ADVFN of what could have been without forced seller. Finally reaping big reward for sitting and waiting from lows in 2016. Looks like 2018 could be the real deal.
  10. Prefer this chart to the one above, happy new year, finally getting my reward
  11. Was a good time to announce the private placement after the Arizaro project confirmed Lithium at depth eh.
  12. Suncor have been so resilient in the face of the slump. Checked their recent news releases and can see why they remain a “steady Eddie” stock.
  13. Like AGB.v shame never looked close before. Latest presentation Oct 17 reveals a good deal of reassuring information inc Management with fair chunk of skin in the game, fairly low A.I.S.C , no country risk, strike out projects near term drivers etc. Will look some more but expect I'll tuck a few of these away; maybe another with OGC type potential here and yes they do say it themselves in their presentation.
  14. And so it was... Tested the boundary of 34p on commencing Ugur mining a month back, since then proved up a jorc there but that's just one of the many op's going on. Today's production update showed the progress, also showed substantive debt reduction. Expect a Operations update or 2 will follow soon as usually together. There is loads lining up here, this is poised to go much higher short and medium term. Finally breached 34p today for new high not seen since depressed sellers; heck of a lot lining up here.
  15. Mentioned on U.K miners thread, this could be a big month for AAZ, all the ducks have been lining up again this year after a bit of a false dawn when mining was halted and the market misunderstood reasons I.m.o Anyhow, newsflow been positive and just over a year on bounced back up to a closing mid this week of 29.25p. Interims likely in a week or so, should really show the balance sheet turning healthy. This is well primed now.
  16. Big moves in FMC and SQM so far this year, riding rockets, maybe not too late with ALB that has some catching up to do.
  17. Being a cheerleader I'll whisper it quietly, AAZ have big few months coming up, financial position should look as good as it has for years, plenty of ducks lining here. Should test 34p high late last year, much better position now.
  18. Very true. Watching LRA it's been sliding back from when I sold some time now.
  19. I'd say you are missing AAZ from that list, but then I would being a cheerleader http://www.angloasianmining.com/home/
  20. OGC is a good stock and holding (far too long) eventually paid off couple of years back; odd when I look at the price now, it was not long enough; could have multi bagged over the years. Always liked it was a New Zealand miner and saw that as very stable to its prospects. Noticed it announced record production lately and its gone up a level with its more recent acquisitions, the bit I missed out on. Ho hum. It's a good stable mining bet, I ought to look at again
  21. Trying to find Brent Cooks comments for this year. His picks for 2016 were well above average (Watching the slide in LRA did well in that, sold too early on "speeding ticket" last year, but not so early to current price). Just popping in looking for inspiration ?
  22. Having followed LSIL for far too long, I'd say being the wrong side of the trade doesn't need much compounding help. Get the point being made though.
  23. So am I being thick, if you want to short DUST, not as I would at present, why not simply buy NUGT?

Well I think we both got that wrong.
