i think that would only work if you knew who had made the corresponding tick or cross, that way the person making the tick or cross would think twice before making their assessment however, i think this is the wrong approach since it is still open to abuse; it could also be argued that such a system would support 'group think' if we all agreed to some basic principles (re. keeping on topic - respecting each other) from the start, then any deviation from this could be judged (by a mod etc.) accordingly I posted some thoughts on this earlier. feel free to rip it to shreds!

i totally agree with this the manners displayed by certain posters lately have been poor. however, whenever we get these levels of market volatility, this seems to be a repeating pattern

never saw the pixies, but always liked their stuff and the breeders as well. i saw the wedding present a few times, they were one of those indie bands that would tour the whole country from top to bottom so you were sure to see them at some point (like the house of love during the same late 80s / early 90s period). I met Grapper as he was selling the merchandise prior to the gig! this is one of my favs. from the WP (along with 'why are you being....'), i'm sure you've heard it but this is the only non-live version i can find on yt, so ignore the visual content!!! yeah! M.E.S in the area! saw them a few times - the best gig was in Liverpool, complete with real polythene carrying bag men in the audience! this is one of them video's which works on many different levels - and a classic underated 90's tune..... From: From:

last two for today: a faster tempo version of this was released a while ago but you can never get it on youtube unfortunately, the original still holds its own though: From: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHTErRzlUI4 some of the music to the Harry Potter films is very good, but tends to work in segments (as per its usage in the film) rather than standalone tracks, i love the start to this one though: From: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcZpLlNLubQ

lol, i like the dark stuff but i also like bitter sweet melodies and the sublime sound of outstanding vocal harmonies e.g. Vide cor Meum keeping the soundtrack theme going, here's a couple of moody ones.... From: From: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4Dko64zwLo

Yep a very dark piece, perfect for the film it was used in. The verve must have got the idea for the bitter-sweet symphony video from the massive attack unfinished sympathy vid, but with added attitude! wrt, to film scores, here are two of my favs... a class act... their re-working of Beethoven's 9th symphony was nothing short of genius From: edit - someone on yt says it's not Beethoven but Dvoraks' New World / but i think they're wrong as there are definitely elements of Beethoven's 9th symphony in this. as was their work with ian brown (the video for 'be there' is a spine chiller!) the upward breakout on the GSR (pixs chart below) could be very short-lived if gold takes off again from here - the effect on silver will be a sight to behold. The fate of silver rests in golds hands once again.

good for you - i'm looking for this baby to turn; i had a wee nibble yesterday, but i was buying paper x2 (the plan is to buy the real stuff if i make paper profit - that's the plan ) disclaimer - my real stuff is staying put for now no matter what the comex price says!

there seems to be a convergence of trends looking at the daily charts: very short-term channel: silver has to break out of this channel to keep daily support alive

personally speaking, i think anything at/above $16.73 ish keeps the daily support trend alive, this is also the same figure for the monthly support (ish) for the price close of play on Friday. closing below the daily support would dwindle my optimism somewhat

monthly support (close of price Friday) is also about $16.70, so we could see daily support broken but returning to the monthly trendline at the end of this week. but wrt sentiment, a close below daily support today would be negative of course

4hr ag support broke, moving on to test the daily (close of day) support: usdx has room to increase further without changing the unknown intermediate/long term outlook
