  1. Ive been away for a month guys, what gives? I became a little weary with work stresses and expenditure problems... So is this a mass delevaraging//margin call? Whats behind Gold dropping....and more importnatly what do we think of share prices...im still heavily in BP and a few others...
  2. Pix, what is your issue with Bubb sharing his ideas? Have you not discussed swapping Gold to silver and back within Goldmoney accounts...could this not be misinterpreted by a novice also? Could the ramping of precious metals also be seen as dangerous, if one were to be picky? One would hope that most people on this website implicitly understand the need to DYOR with regard to any 3rd party views. Surely the point is to discuss, share and interrogate ideas for the benefit of the whole?
  3. Im wondering if now is a good time to buy back in... I can sense an excrement hitting the air circulation device event occuring soon.
  4. Bullionvault back down to $1600. Higher or lower folks?
  5. How do you trade your Silver PD? Do you use anything like Bullionvault?
  6. So does ANYONE see another shakeout on the horizon?
  7. bullionvault $1793 miners got booted today. Keeping any eye on most of the picks suggested on here. Do you see it hitting $1650?
  8. I am naturally cynical of these types of things. My mother had a penchant for them, however I found them exploitative. Having said that, one can be cynical and open, so I would be interested to see what info this thread produces. I was dismayed to see on his website that there are certain free videos, and then some premium videos for further added depth. Personally, I would rather read some Buddhist texts. Ah well.
  9. And warpig, talking of Classical orchestras and modern music, check this out...Jeff Mills and Montpellier Orchestra. (ps how do I post the vids direct?)
  10. A slightly different tack to many...but I love Electronic music, and these guys were pioneers, combining soul and the machine...
  11. GF, I would be interested to hear what you think of this fund (i dont know enough about individual Miners) Blackrock Gold and General fund. I avoid the initial charges via Hargreaves Lansdowne on Blackrock and the annual charge is 1.75%. Their top 10 holdings: 1 Newcrest Mining 9.92% Australia Mining 2 Fresnillo 7.45% United Kingdom Mining 3 Kinross Gold Corp. 6.68% Canada Mining 4 Goldcorp 6.14% Canada Mining 5 Randgold Resources Ltd. ADS 3.94% United States Mining 6 Industrias Penoles S.A. de C.V. 3.69% Mexico Industrial Metals & Mining 7 Newmont Mining Corp. 3.62% United States Mining 8 Agnico-Eagle Mines 3.54% Canada Mining 9 IAMGOLD Corp. 3.37% Canada Mining 10 Eldorado Gold Corp. 3.16% Canada Mining
  12. ^ Do you hold any assets not connected to gold/commodities Errol? If so, what are they?
  13. Might open a Bullionvault account...or Gold Money...think I prefer Bullion for small purchases (when the time is right!) think they used to do a refferal fee (like a gram or two of gold) for recommending a friend ... anyone want to share?
  14. Im not follwing whats going on here...can anyone explain in laymans terms? From my limited understanding, margin calls are when a bank requests capital...are we saying that speculators are borrowing to invest in Gold? Apologies, Im trying to learn..bear with me!
  15. and what is a good way to invest indirectly in gold...i dont like the holding costs of bullionvault as only have a small cash sum.
  16. When do you see the new paradigm emerging?
  17. Gold noob here!. Anyway have thoughts on this? http://www.businessinsider.com/roubini-gold-is-in-a-bubble-2011-8?utm_source=twbutton&utm_medium=social&utm_term=&utm_content=&utm_campaign=moneygame
  18. I really want to buy gold now, really want. Which is probably why I shouldnt.
  19. any of you wizkids go any thoughts on AAZ http://www.hl.co.uk/shares/shares-search-results/a/anglo-asian-mining-ordinary-gbp-0.01/financials
  20. Well, im still seeing price reductions after a slight perking in 2010. Land prices are battered behind the scenes, with some closed deals as low as I have ever seen. Realism is rife. I have saved up a £20k cash fund. The question now is do I invest it, or purchase.
  21. Evenin Gents. Its been a while. Ive been focusing on my career to build up a reasonable enough drip feed into investments. Its a dirty word I know, but I want to get into residential investment in order to diversify my income. I also hope to reduce the hours I spend in the office and turn my focus elsewhere. I have a couple of Q's which I hope will stimulate discussion; Never time the market - it feels like we are nearing the bottom. What are your thoughts on the factors facing the UK housing market. I know the returns I can make in the current market...but the whole macro inflation/deflation issue confuses me...what are your inf/def ex[ectations and what effect might they have on the housing market?
  22. Golds a bit of a volatile one to spreadbet
  23. I wouldnt be sucked in by that hyperbole...its just attention-seeking. cgnao is very good at digging out worrying info and disseminating it, though he undermines his credibility with these baseless posts. Shame really.
