  1. I'd essentially agree with that. Expect the unexpected. Look at the dow and FTSE for sept, wasn't everybody pointing to Hindenburg omens and proclaiming sept as traditionally the worst months for stocks? and what happened? the bull went on and blew the bears clean away. Sure we may have a correction in oct but then again we may not. The sound coming out of the fed and MPC are hinting at further QE supporting the stock markets and the PMs, demand in asia is till buoyant and who knows if we have another soverign failure scare the eurpoeans will be buying again. Crazy times we live in, I personally wouldn't rely on past perfomance to gauge future movements. The stock bears just learnt that the hard way in sept. New times require new ways of thinking. IMO
  2. Interesting news from Japan: Silver OI up 20% on TOCOM http://www.thedailycommodities.com/2010/10...ost-for-silver/

  4. Sounds good to me. I've been around many other forums, including US ones, most of them populated by a few scattered intelligent informed individuals, some new to investing and genuinely wanting to learn and of course the trolls, often exasperating to put it mildly. Personally I'm a small investor: physical gold, silver, miners, commodity shares etc and I also trade the markets as a an intraday commodity/ forex trader, all strictly amateur, but I'm quite successfull at it, which brings in a steady weekly income and allows me to sit at home all day looking at market movements and occasionally hitting buttons I've also run real world business in the past as a director in recruitment firms and am kind of semi retired though I'm still in my 40s. Hopefully I will find some intelligent well researched people here for discussion and at first impressions its looking very promising.
