drbubb
(from Stockhouse) SUBJECT: RE: Insider accounts Posted By: brumell Post Time: 8/14/2007 01:26 Thanks for posting Makkaroni. Appears those options were announced in the NR dated July 11th whereby 1.82 million options were allocated to officers, directors, employees and consultants to the company. The number shown by INK is only 1,037 million so there's another 783,000 kicking around somewhere. Perhaps they are not yet all allocated. Lets write nice things about Jean Luc. Maybe we can get some freebies..... Meanwhile, this thread is dead. Oh, and by the way, Cormark who is leading broker for ELN's current placement is really Sprott Securities. They were big buyers this past month. Sprott Securities changed their name to Cormark last April. However, their exchange house number hasn't changed so perhaps that's why their trades keep showing as Sprott. Reading threads elsewhere, it's apparent many also think Sprott Securites is Sprott Asset Management. It isn't and wasn't. When they discover the Sprott they talk about hasn't existed for awhile, they'll really be confused. Keep your head down, Makkaroni. It's a tough market these days. Happily time will soon be ripe for ELN. Lots of fun. Bob : www.geoshares.com @: http://www.stockhouse.ca/bullboards/viewme...p;navd=fwd&

vssmnn
El Nino Ventures Inc to start 5,000 meter drill program on their Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Properties VANCOUVER, Aug. 20, 2007 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX News Network) -- El Nino Ventures Inc. ("El Nino") (TSX.V: ELN; OTCBB: ELNOF; Frankfurt: E7Q) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with DrillAfrica Company Limited, to complete a minimum of 5,000 meters of drilling over its properties in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This program is scheduled to start in mid September. Jean Luc Roy, President of El Nino states, "We are very pleased to announce to our shareholders that we have secured a drill rig to start our initial drill program in the DRC. This program will consist of a minimum of 5,000 meters of Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling to test the anomalies identified in our remote sensing survey that was carried out previously. Our geological team will be on the ground by the end of August to prepare the drill sites and set up the camp necessary to carry out this program. I will personally be in the DRC from the 10th of September onwards to ensure that all is in place to successfully carry out this program. Our whole team has worked hard to get all the equipment necessary to the DRC so that everything is in place for this program. The rainy season in the DRC starts around mid-November so we will be in a position to complete a minimum of 5,000 meters before the rains arrive. When we acquired these properties our goal was to fast-track our exploration efforts and we have delivered on this objective." About El Nino El Nino Ventures is a junior exploration company, whose corporate objective is to revisit former mining regions and apply the latest technologies to advanced stage exploration targets. El Nino has recently acquired over 350 square kilometers in a world renowned copper belt in the Democratic Republic of Congo and is currently in the midst of a 25,000 meter drill program in the Bathurst Mining Camp. vssmnn
Zinc in Ireland??? With hindsight it would appear that this is the position into which Jean-Luc Roy wanted to get the company when he joined last year. He does not argue with this, but says that the company will be announcing its involvement in zinc in Ireland shortly and has no plans to go to Eastern Europe as indicated on its website. http://www.minesite.com/nc/minews/singlene...t-in-drc/1.html El Nino Ventures Inc. closes $0.90/unit brokered private placement financing VANCOUVER, Aug. 30 /CNW/ - El Nino Ventures Inc. The proceeds from the financing will be used for exploration, drilling, and engineering at the Company's properties in the Democratic Republic of Congo and for general corporate purposes. Cormark Securities Inc. as lead agent and Haywood Securities Inc. (collectively the "Agents") acted as agents for this financing.
