FRACTALS - and they look Bullish!

Here's a One Month (Historical) chart - up to Feb. 25th:

image.jpeg

What happened afterwards? It rose from about $9,600 to about $11,600 - that's +21%

Look how very similar the pattern above is to the one below:

image.jpeg

The above chart is for a shorter period - just 10 days. But the pattern looks similar "at a different level of magnification" - like a Fractal.

The third chart was made a little later - and it looked like the price was holding above the trendline, so I did some small buying.

BTC Jumps to near $9,000 !

(Comments from the Viber chat):

BTC jumps! And I am well-positioned.

0.6891 x$8931= $6,154 ... H:+403: +06.5%

My Hedge is not a hedge, it is additional LONGS : 106.5% Long now, rather than hedged

I have decided to trade (a bit) more aggressively, as my confidence in my charts grows

BTS - 10d : 2d :

BTC is now right on the top of the channel - just below $9000.  If it breaks above $9000, we could see an explosive move up

(A little later):

JUne is now over $9000.  Spot may soon follow June higher.

I only use them for specific types of trades.

I reckon there will be many stop losses just below the old low: $7000

Bitcoin, the Biggest Bubble in History, Is Popping

The greatest bubble in history is popping, according to Bank of America Corp.

The cryptocurrency is tracking the downfalls of the other massive asset-price bubbles in history less than one year out from its record, analysts lead by Chief Investment Strategist Michael Hartnett wrote in a note Sunday.

The cryptocurrency has fallen more than 65 percent since peaking in December at $19,511. Bitcoin rose 2.2 percent to $6,750 on Monday.

Cryptocurrency Billionaire Matthew Mellon Dies in Mexican Rehab at 54

Matthew Mellon, the billionaire banking heir, died suddenly at a rehab facility in Cancun, Mexico. He was 54.

Mellon was the ex-husband of Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon, with whom he shares one child, daughter Araminta. He was previously married to designer Nicole Hanley, who he shared two children with, Force and Olympia.

A rep for Tamara did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

In a statement by a family rep obtained by Page Six, Mellon “died suddenly in Cancun, Mexico, where he was attending a drug rehabilitation facility.”

“Mellon made his fortune in cryptocurrency, turning a $2 million investment into $1 billion. He is survived by his three children, Force, Olympia and Minty. The family asks that their privacy be respected at this very painful time,” the statement concluded.

JPMorgan Chase and the National Bank of Canada have partnered with several other major firms to trial a blockchain platform aimed to improve the debt issuance process.

As reported by Reuters, the Wall Street investment bank said in a statement Friday that the trial, which took place on Wednesday, mirrored a $150 million offering the same day by the National Bank of Canada of a one-year floating-rate Yankee certificate of deposit.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Pfizer, Legg Mason Inc's Western Asset, and others also participated in the trial.

David Furlong, Senior Vice President of Blockchain at National Bank of Canada, said:

“[Blockchain technology] has the potential to bring about major change in the financial services industry.”

According to the report based on JPMorgan's Quorum blockchain, the debt-issuance platform took over one year to build.

As reported by CoinDesk in March, the bank is currently mulling spinning off the Quorum project as an independent company.

It's DEJA VU... all over again...

"BTC Jumps to near $9,000 !" - I said on March 24th

(Comments from then):

======

Update: BTC is now: $8846, and my position is:

0.6900 x$884= $6,100 ... H:+603: + 9.9%

I added $200 to my long, at a lower level - but there's really very little change in 3-4 weeks

Except the chart looks stronger, & the breakout may be more likely to continue.

I did almost no trading because the market reversed to down slightly after that. I decided to just wait.

Bitcoin Daily Chart Alert - Price Uptrend In Place - April 27

Kitco News

(Kitco News) - Bitcoin-U.S. dollar prices are higher in early U.S. trading Friday. Bulls have had the better week. Prices hit a five-week high on Tuesday. A fledgling price uptrend is in place on the daily chart. The Bitcoin bulls have the near-term technical advantage. Thus, the overall path of least resistance remains sideways to higher. Stay tuned!
