drbubb
Deep State Defense move coming? Stock Crash? War? SPY-Soxx update : 10d : Get ready for an 8% to 13% stock market correction The U.S. stock market is headed for a decline in the range of 8% to 13%. . . . The reason Martin believes the market is headed for a significant decline is the divergences between the few large-cap stocks that are rising (and thereby propelling the market averages higher) and the vast majority of other stocks that are not. Divergences spell imminent trouble, he said in an interview, because that’s when the market averages are “giving the illusion of market strength” when, in fact, “the majority of stocks are under severe distribution.” / 2 / Hit Job Failed, New Playbook Introduced, New Deep State Narrative Coming

drbubb
High Bond Yields trigger... 24hr Gold 1184.00 -18.70 Gold, Silver Prices Down Despite Some Risk Aversion Gold and silver prices are solidly lower in early U.S. trading Monday, and have extended overnight losses. The safe-haven metals are not getting any benefit from an uptick in risk aversion to start the trading week. Instead, both are being pressured by a strong U.S. dollar on the foreign exchange market. December gold futures were last down $12.30 an ounce at $1,193.40. December Comex silver was last down $0.194 at $14.455 an ounce. World stock markets were mostly lower overnight, with steep losses seen in the Chinese stock market after it was closed last week for a public holiday. Chinese monetary officials during the weekend loosened monetary policy a bit more but that did not stop their stock market sell off. U.S. stock indexes are pointed toward weaker openings then the New York day session begins. The U.S. government, including the Treasury bond cash market, is closed for the Columbus Day holiday today. Canadian markets are shut for the Thanksgiving holiday. World equities are still pressured by rising government bond yields that are pulling investor interest away from stocks. U.S. stock indexes are in very mature bull market runs that have many wondering if the end is near.

Holmes added that many in the industry agree that we have reached peak gold, so investors and miners can expect to see supply shrinking

drbubb
FAANG stocks ... since YrE-2015 : '16 : '17 : PAPER: Break up AMAZON before it does any more damage to America! When Jeff Bezos announced that Amazon would be raising its minimum wage to $15 an hour last week, the reception was rapturous. The Seattle Times called it “the just thing.” “Good for them,” said President Trump’s chief economic adviser Larry Kudlow. “I’m in favor of higher wages.” Bloomberg called it proof that “an even higher minimum wage is probably safe for big, productive cities.” Senator Bernie Sanders, a chief Bezos antagonist, called it “enormously important.” “Unequivocally good news,” said The Washington Post. The latter is owned by Jeff Bezos, an all-too-easily forgotten point these days. Because for all the questions to follow this announcement — Why now? What is Amazon eliminating to pay for this? How much praise does Bezos, recently crowned the World’s Richest Man, deserve while paying, as of 2017, a median Amazon income of $28,446? — we are not asking the real one. When did we become The United States of Amazon?
