But you know as well as I do - some people have thicker or thinner skins than others - and there's only one GEI pub to drink in.

I would just like to say that cdswamp & myself are not one & the same poster.

I recieved a pm from someone on here that they thought that we were.

 

 

tbh, I feel honoured to be even considered in the same category, as I know myself that I am definetly not. Certainly not based on current knowledge.

You’re right. Personally, I thought Catflap made an @*$£ of himself. Abusing you for being abusive made no sense whatsoever. On reflection, he said he would change the post if he could.

 

I think he didn’t get banned because he didn’t spill out into other threads and his attack was less vicious.

 

As you have pointed out, 'tosser' seems to be deemed an acceptable insult.

I like ID5 a lot, but I'm afraid he said something which pissed me off at the time, I can't even remember now - like Catflap I got angry, with Steve and Bubb and ID5 got caught in the crossfire . So my apologies to ID5. LOL, actually what I said was what a WOMAN forum owner used to say to trolls to freak them out, LOL, well it seemed funny at the time.

OK - I better say sorry for my choice of words to cdswamp if he's going to stick around. Nothing personal, just sticking up for others in a way that I'm neither proud of or does me any favours. Having read some of his posts then it's clear he has a contribution to make and has a few admirers, but enjoys winding people up which doesn't always go down the right way.
