How about a 23ct gold gilded turkey for your xmas dinner

Apparently gold as a food additive is E175

Had a similar arrangement as i do live in the country, had to stop though as my postie got nosey and asked what was inside the parcels. The easy quick answer was computer discs and he didn't blink at this, but taking no more chances. Now vary my delivery/collection methods of G/S including alternating delivery address through family.
I get all mine delivered to my work address

Interesting email from Goldmoney this morning:
"Dear Customer,
The quality and security of your assets have top priority at GoldMoney. You need to be assured that the metals you buy with us are 100% yours and only of the highest quality.
For this reason we have started using ultrasound technology developed by GE Inspection Technologies to test for foreign material and defects within the gold bars we store for our customers. It is the same technology used to assure personal safety in the medical and aviation industries. Any bar that fails the ultrasound test is melted down, assayed and then recast into a new bar.
We then audit the bars regularly and make the independent reports available to our customers. This is what we call the GoldMoney Standard."

Yes, Sarnias stuff is starting to look quite dear now. I just received one of their 10 oz Scottsdale "Chunky" bars, lovely hand poured lump of silver
-
All one oz coins seem to be gone from Sarnia. hmm 10 oz bar for £199
-
Sarnia Silver is low on stock but has seconds of ASEs and maples for £17.99, i bought some ASEs and you can hardly tell they are seconds, they just had some tiny marks on them
-
Anyone thinking of trading some silver for gold at these ratios? Im quite tempted, even with the Goldmoney charge on top
-
Quite possible that we may have a new USD all time high by end of play today.............
Looks like you jinxed that

Thanks Jake, I have been a long time lurker, came here via HPC

sarnia have withdrawn some coins as they are now apparently too expensive to post without VAT.
Just had a load of Philharmonics turn up, nice coins but I really dont like the non-milled edge on them.

In case anyone's interested and unaware. CID are doing 1kg Libertads at 7% VAT - total cost: £469.46
Thanks for that, I had already bought a load of Philharmonics this week from Sarnia Silver but couldnt resist this.
I love getting envelopes/parcels stuffed with PMs turn up at my desk at work

Completely agree with Warpig too. Yes the UK has problems, but so does everywhere else. Calling it a total dump just shows your ignorance IMO . There are some lovely lovely places and people in the UK.
I can see how the weather might not be to everyones taste but I really enjoy all the seasons here, especially a crisp autumn morning
