First Majestic Silver's Q3 Production in Mexico Drops to 5.5 Million Equivalent Ounces

08:12 AM EDT, 10/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- First Majestic Silver (AG.NaE) said Thursday its total Q3 production from its three underground mines in Mexico was 5.5 million silver equivalent ounces, down from 6.3 million equivalent ounces a year earlier.

The three mines -- Santa Elena, San Dimas, and La Encantada -- produced almost 2.0 million silver ounces compared with 2.5 million silver ounces a year earlier.

The mines produced 41,761 gold ounces, down from 46,720 ounces a year earlier.

First Majestic Silver (AG.NaE) said it expects improved production levels in Q4 at the San Dimas silver and gold mine following an agreement that was reached with unionized workers in August.
