  1. Leave them to it and let them wallow in their own ignorance. I'm sure they will be trying to console themselves with all the dollars RB has told them to buy. :D

Yeah, I'm just worried that some who want to know, don't know where to find this thread.

I never realised that some people seem actually to hate gold. You live and learn. :D

  2. Thanks #7334 post is what I was looking for. I didnt think much of the parabolic graph a few posts before it- ? Cannot be correct...

Yeah, GF had a funny comment about that one: information content about zero.

I don't know the source data of those graphs. Maybe the London fix.

Notice the gold price increases in the 30s. Repeatedly over at hpc people would make comments to imply that deflation is bad for gold. I've never understood why some people imagine that. Anybody have thoughts on this matter?

  3. Funny to see that over at hpc today they are getting all excited about what is basically a nice, that-time-of-the-day smackdown. One or two gold bulls are still posting over there, but I don't think I'll bother. A couple of my posts got deleted when they deleted the last couple pages of that old gold thread - and a little joke of mine I was rather pleased with. I never broke any rules, wasn't rude, on the contrary I was trying to be conciliatory.

Anyway, they'll probably lose the possibility of a balanced perspective with the loss of posts to here.

On the price: I'd like to see some good consolidation anyway, with plenty of sideways action.

  4. Welcome! Enjoyed your post on HPC recently.

Thank you, Mr G0ldfinger for your welcome and especially for starting this thread. Already I feel it's better over here. Let's hope our good DrBubb doesn't mind maybe the gold thread living here.

@Billy. Thanks for the link to the JS Q&A session which I hope to listen to tomorrow.
