  1. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=206...&refer=home Yeah, right! And buy real estate in the UK and California as well! What a mess!
  2. Cheers. A thread on a fake Sovereign on GIM. Maybe of interest to some of you as well. http://goldismoney.info/forums/showthread.php?t=271336
  3. Gold and I just breached 900. EDIT: At least I will stay above 900 permanently.
  4. The Shorterz are $h1tting themselves right now. The game is up!
  5. They try to hold this big ball filled with air under the water. EDIT: Someone with a big golden @$$ is sitting on $900.
  6. I am looking forward to what you have to tell us.
  7. Gold could easily trade at $2,000 today without being particularly expensive in comparison with oil.
  8. What can you expect. This is a Friday and they have to paint a chart.
  9. DJIA -282 now. I guess it is time for the big oil money to come in and turn it around. After all, they have to buy SOMETHING, and they can't buy gold because then the system would fall apart. So, unfortunately for them (but fortunately for some retail investors and pension funds) they need to buy stocks.
  10. Hi Whoops, good to see you back. I think you're spot on here. Some people have a rude awakening today. Especially after all the talk of the credit crunch being behind us etc. This could be a key event today. EDITed to add: - House price are already YoY negative in the UK, dropping fast. This is an eye-opener. - High crude oil prices will start feeding through to the gas pumps in the US ($120 hasn't arrived there yet, keep this in mind). - Even the rigged indicators like CPI and payrolls start to look gloomy.
  11. No, in fact I meant the Dow. I still think a 1-day stock market meltdown is possible. The actual catastrophe will of course be the losses suffered from level prices while inflation is raging.
  12. Has someone a realtime ticker? Is the PPT stopping this thing from falling through the floor?
  13. Looks as if parts of the market woke up to reality today.
  14. I think this could spell some serious trouble for the Dollar.
  15. I'm not Steve, but I like your remark anyway.
  16. If you ever lose focus, this is how the gold and silver charts will look in a few years.
  17. Another total and utter surprise on Bloomberg: YoY -3.8%. It's the Property Cliff. The 'ladder' has been removed. U.K. House Prices Fall 3.8%, Biggest Decline in 15 Years, HBOS Report Says http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=206...&refer=home
  18. A colleague always warns me that an Obama election will mean strong USD since 'they' will try to make his life difficult and get rid off him. Any comments? I am not entirely convince of the argument. Seems too conspiracy-like.
  19. This is soooo totally unexpected -- I could hardly believe it. U.K. Service Industries Unexpectedly Contract; Consumer Confidence Slumps http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=206...&refer=home
  20. Seems Bernanke speek can still unfluence the USD.
  21. Britain full of empty homes? That's good! My rent will fall. http://www.moneyweek.com/file/48055/what-h...g-shortage.html
  22. I'd go further back and say yes. http://www.greenenergyinvestors.com/index....ost&p=40344
  23. Can't quite see what kind of regulation would do good to a free physical gold and silver standard. Well, yes, naked shortselling (paper gold) should be forbidden. Usually nothing is more wise and careful than a truly free market.
  24. Yes. Someone please help him and put him out of his misery. (Be careful using the g... word over there, though.) http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/ind...t&p=1147037
