  1. Chris CT had a thread on it a few weeks ago http://www.greenenergyinvestors.com/index....&hl=panning
  2. Going mainstream. They were discussing gold as an investment on "Mock the Week" last night. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00mv...s_7_Episode_11/
  3. Apparently ETFs are the only sensible way to play it, but supply and demand factors are going to push the price down anyway.

  8. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=206...id=a79poDjcDqOA Is it just me, or does this headline make it sound like the gold price has taken a big hit?
  9. Isn't their "property empire" quite concentrated in Ashford and surrounding areas? Isn't giving prior notice of the sale of 700 flats/houses in a fairly small area all at once, gonna hammer the price (especially in a thin market)? 16. According to wikipedia: They don't seem to be trying that hard to attract investors whenever I see them quoted.

  18. 1. They are stuck between the anvil and the hammer. 2. They haven't the faintest clue how to get out. 3. Even if they did, they don't have the conviction to take the hit squarely and move on. The above applies to all the significant parties equally.
  19. My favourites. Brit's are the best gold coins though, if you're UK based.
  20. Just for fun, the latest from rightmove. I certainly don't agree. With increasing evidence that we've already hit the bottom of the market... ...what’s the forecast for the rest of 2009?
  21. I agree with you. But that wasn't the point (as you're clearly aware). The significance isn't his opinion, simply his mainstream impact.
  22. Is Rich Dad Right About $15,000 Gold? Mania, here we come!
  23. My wife is taking our sons to HK later this year to get their residency rights sorted and ID cards issued.
