  1. Silver broke its 200MA at $16.50 so should be a SELL at that strike price.

If you go along with market manipulation be ready to buy on this dip on confirmation from B.Bulls. Take this as a bear trap

Just look at rise in volume in PHAG. A selling climax is now being reached?

SLVR ETF also shows the same rise.

Price of silver at the time of this post is $12.70.

  2. Has anyone lost their belief in the gold bull and planning to sell out, or are you confident that this is just a temporary drop in price with much higher prices to come?

I buy gold - a silent protest against this PC, over regulation-happy, CCTV, stealth tax, oppressive Nu-Labour goverment.

    No, not selling.

  3. Interesting. I have it bookmarked.

Is there a silver equivalent which they monitor?

On edit: I found 2 silver ETFs which they monitor:

    And another gold one:

    Yeah - PHAG or SLVR

You can play about with daily or weekly settings.

Type in any stock in the box and it will give you a recommendation.

E.g. JKX. Its back to where it started - but if you followed it - you would be 3x up. :o

This is the closest you get to black box trading - and its pretty successful mostly it seems.

The home page lists stocks that are buy now [dark green] or sell now [red] too.

  4. Can't believe I missed this news. This news is very significant in the PM market.

ETF Securities has launched the world’s first Shariah-compliant exchange-traded commodities precious metal platform.

The platform will be headed by Sameer Meralli, head of sales for the Middle East and North Africa. ETF sought Shariah compliance after a growing demand from the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. Hector McNeil, managing partner at ETF Securities, said: “The launch was an exciting new development for Islamic investors to gain access to our entire physical precious metals platform, which includes gold, silver, palladium and platinum.”

Do you think this new security caused the drop? As it opened, a new pool of precious metals become available in the market.

  5. In the UK if you purchase more than £5,000 in one financial calendar year from a dealer then that dealer must inform the HMRC Gold Team of the purchase but the problem is that they no longer exist and haven’t for quite a few years.

    Bullish eh?

  6. I ll stop buying when I can nip into town and buy gold bars in 10 minutes. No jeweller in town carries bars or coins - or at least advertises them in some way.

The only way I can buy is through the handful of mail order companies or travel 20 miles to the nearest dealer - who only carry a small stock.

Talk about a small market in the UK :o
