  1. Jeepers, you spend the afternoon detailing the car and all hell breaks loose. $1008 now. And this from Bob Moriarty: "Take some money off the table" Bob Moriarty, 321gold
  2. Yes, warpig, he was right last year about the distress in the credit markets and predicted the autumn crash. He also said we'd have a tradeable rally in the spring and into the summer.
  3. Me too. Just opened a beer. Edited to add: It's been a morning of heavy lifting and shelf installation.
  4. Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere? Bob Hoye (Ross Clark)'s latest on gold, courtesy 321 gold -- very bullish! Chartworks on gold
  5. Interesting about Jason Hommel opening his own place. He looks bulkier and less of a nerd on video than he does in his pic.
  6. That is a great strategy RH. I can do that too. I just need to be patient and wait for the market to come to me.
  7. Aww. Thanks. I did need that reminder. I am still cross about trading silver for gold and not getting a crash to reward me. Now i am itching to return to my former position in silver, but gold has not adequately compensated me for the trade. So I am frustrated.
  8. I still can't believe how relatively low gold is, in GBP. Well off the earlier highs. I am not excited at all by the recent action.
  9. I am gonna have to start flirting with some of them miners. Do you do your trading online Pixel8r? If so do you recommend your brokerage provider?
  10. All this hoopla today, and I just remembered -- we are still a far cry from the high in GBP!
  11. Roger Weigand says $1007 is/was a price to watch out for, as it would be a double-top and would trigger profit-taking. Interview (audio) on kitco -- link at the bottom of this page: Sept 2nd interview
  12. Like a rock is right! I haven't seen it fall this far, this fast before.
  13. What is this talk of. . . selling?! Selling?!
  14. Barrick to sell silver to Silver Wheaton from Reuters
  15. I see what you mean about "taking profits in gold, by buying gold". That is what I did. Thanks RH. Edited to add: Notanewmember -- I also plan to buy some gold and silver companies after the next crash.
  16. I am really not enjoying this little party in gold as much as I should. I mean, I am 80% in gold, and I am cross I traded my silver for gold! Arrrgh! Anyway, speaking of profits, RH, I am thinking it may be time to take some in gold. Does anybody else have a feeling the other shoe is about to drop?
  17. GATA circulated this interview with our old pal John Embry from Sprott: Sept 6 interview John Embry
  18. Thanks Pixel8r. It was heading north of 66 when I made the switch, but promptly turned around!
  19. I agree. I was apportioned 60-40 silver and now I am 80:20 favouring gold. It is/was a short-term, Hoye-induced crash-protection position, but I expect I will go back to favouring silver.
  20. Silver is on a tear! (In sterling anyway) Now £9.9627! (Silver is also kicking my butt since I foolishly heeded Hoye's August warning!)
  21. Yanks having a lie-in this morning. It's Labour Day.
