I visited Newton's ancestral home at Woolsthorpe Manor recently. I stood in his bedroom overlooking, as he did, the orchard which provided his "apple moment" in 1666/67. At the age of just 24/25 he was developing his ideas of calculus, optics and the laws of gravitation. I kid you not that there was this weird feeling of immense intellectual power in that room and it was very moving; it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. The intellect was not emanating from me !
From the Watch the Silver Turd thread
The last 2 times the daily RSI indicator for silver has hit below 30 like this there has been a significant rally.
Let the buying begin... COME ON, EMPTY YOUR POCKETS.
ps. I've used blue circles because I hate red at the moment.

Inevitable I think regardless of other markets. Well, who'd have thunk it, silver pretty much hitting 52WMA
Edit: I so hope that;s the last of the falls.......
Talking of sh*t floating, here is a great track which will ring true to most on here I would have thought. Time for a few updated graphics though, Bernanke, Paulson, Brown etc, etc..

Another way to put it might be that there is only so much room for more than one turd in a toilet bowl before someone decides the toilet has to be flushed....
That argument is at best debatable of course, what is the value of that "money" measured against? Other currencies? ie. If your held currency had devalued by 50% against all other currencies then you wouldn't have doubled your money; the whole problem with the floating exhange system.
Equivalent to 10 full 100oz futures contracts commanding a nominal $950,000 worth of gold bullion.... In other words if Midas turned up and said "i can turn that turd into gold" that's how much you'd have to stump up if gold went to zero and you didn't have stops
