  1. MM, you might be able to get some spinoff benefit when Hollywood promotes this "future blockbuster".

    .

That might work, but the movie can be watched for the next year, it is late, isn't it? At most, a journalist would write an article mentioning my work could realize the subject of the movie, some forums or blogs would cite it and some people would read and say: Wow! This is so cool, and it would become cold after a while. I need something more serious than being helped by a Hollywood film.

    My advice :

+ Find some paying work, to keep body-and-soul together

+ Keep improving your message, and "uping your game" (American jargon)

Thanks, I have some ideas to make more revenue, but I view my car plan as an emergency, because of environmental reasons.

In a personal level, I will survive, but I like to tie my way of living, to my passion of doing something positive for the public, if others would back me.

+ Think about joining a public speakers group, or acting class, so you will become more comfortable delivering your message, and learning the rhetorical "tricks" that help keep the message positive, and keeping people open to it

That's about memorizing English sentences and say them in front of the camera. If I wanted to read them from a script; or a professional team would record me speaking, then doing numerous editions after that; or that would be effective if I speak in my native language, you could see I am comfortable to tell my message.

+ Look for partners offshore, and think of ways you can help them to succeed in their projects, and by helping you can demonstrate your own competence.

    ...

    It is Okay.

  2. 6. In the next question you state you would be shocked if you received more than the stated goal

By being shocked, I meant something like the huge success of top campaigns that said before, see this list:

    http://en.wikipedia....by_funds_raised

It is quite clear if I could absorb more than ten million bucks, the wormhole project would be started, along with this car-related one.

    2. I would like to see a brief introduction from you, your name, age, what is your background? If you have a academic qualifications what are they? What are your areas of expertise? Have you been involved in any successful business before? If so, mention this.

You mean I need to state these data in video? I think you know me sufficiently after all these years being in this forum. Also, I confirm this article on my biography:

    http://wikibin.org/a...mansouryar.html

This article is old and inaccurate:

    http://www.thefullwi...mmad_Mansouryar

    3. You need to have people view your campaign page and feel compelled to contribute, so presentation and content needs to be professional and appear credible.

OK, I will impose some changes, mainly a new video.

I am going to post the project at another fundraising website working by the model of All or Nothing (AoN), one of these maybe:

    http://en.wikipedia....unding_services

So you would be sure your contribution would be turned back to you, if I cannot achieve my goal, and if I can, you would have a confidence in participating in an activity, having public wisdom.

Enlist the help of others, perhaps local film students looking for experience making a film for indiegogo, do you have a budget for that?

No budget, no time, no resources and particular tools. At most, I can persuade my younger brother or older cousin to help me make this new video.

There are a lot of helpful people around here and elsewhere but you really need to spend more time working on your campaign for indiegogo.

In fact, I have discussed on the technical issues of my plan to some people before. I've concluded this needs to be tested in the lab conditions. The theoretical calculations could give us non-exact results, so I seriously insist we need to observe the results in reality. For example, read this post about my idea on using piezoelectric materials in the chassis, as it is the subject of my fundraising campaign:

    http://www.ultimatec...29&postcount=60

    along with this post:

    http://www.sciforums...l=1#post2847695

If you read them, and pay attention to the previous related posts, plus the referred links, I think you would create a definite picture of my idea of using piezoelectricity in your mind.

Regards and give me a shout if you think I can help out.

Thanks again. Well, gathering the needed funds and accessing to them and using them freely, seems like a dream to me.

I prefer to stay optimistic about helping my plan by interested people, but there is a magical shortcut for achieving my goal too: If you or anyone who reads this post could draw the attention of a decision maker in the car industry to my project, AND this would lead to a successful cooperation between me and that person or company, I would pay you a definite percent of the contract as the commission, what do you think? Are you in?

If everything is OK, I can come to UK or anywhere to cooperate with the person or team you've found. So if you want to see realizing this plan in UK or wherever you like, that might be a motivation. I state to every reader: It is up to you as a way of income, I am suggesting you this: Connect me to a car person and if we would make a deal, receive a part of the contract.

  3. Thanks PositiveDeviant for the tips. I will make another video, with a better quality.

    3. At the start, the phrase "I want to save the world, please be my helper!" is written under the title for the campaign page. This needs to be reworded as it seems a bit overly idealistic

Indeed, I really mean it and I think it is a strong slogan, a more definite term would reduce the power of my message; but I might change it, because it seems the chemistry between this slogan and readers has not worked.

    4. There are large blocks of text that are off-putting, can these not be split into paragraphs to make it flow better?

Let me see what I can do about this …

    5. You state "Q. What if everything goes wrong? A. If you think things may go wrong, please guide me as to what to do to prevent such an awful scenario. If you are not sure about this, please participate in small pledges, or spread the word at least." This Q. really reduces the credibility because it appears as if you are unlikely to know why it would go wrong
… to me this suggests that either you aren't as confident as you perhaps should be or you have inadvertently given readers the perception that you aren't as confident as you should be.

Well, I wanted to give an answer for the worst possible conditions. As you know, the risk of failure is in the essence of any (new) try. Even launching a spaceship to the orbit could cause death of several experts and losing millions of dollars. In any engineering stuff, there might be unpredicted issues that cause more-than-expected duration and budget for the project.

I don't call myself a physicist, but uncertainty principle has caused deep effects in the modern science, philosophy, and my vision as well. I think science is the realm of conjecture & test, while religion is the realm of faith, so I cannot speak with powerful tone like many people.

Ahmadinejad has had negative impacts on my self-confidence to express myself as an Iranian to others internationally.

Sometimes I have womanly tendencies in my personality causing me hesitation to decide; like any normal person, I am in challenge with my fears, concerns, inabilities, pains, …

My original field (wormhole) is exotic enough and I should be cautious on my attitude, if I want to be away from being judged as a freak.

Therefore, these reasons or excuses have led to such replies as I mentioned in the campaign page.

I suspect what you are trying to say is that you would welcome collaboration and help from others with expertise in the same fields?

You got it right, I welcome to any technical opinion on my plan.

  4. AFTER the Iranian one?

Ignore the titles please. What I am concerned about – in a public level – is our survival. Read this very fresh news:

    http://www.nydailyne...ticle-1.1341281

    http://news.yahoo.co...-news-tech.html

That is a reason for my attempt to realize the green car plan. Therefore, I hope to experience a mutual loyalty & trust between me and my supporters. I want people would believe my message and we could give a contribution for the betterment of all. Time is passing and we need to do something … just some days closer to announce my campaign … let us be positive …

  5. Even I might need to temporarily live out of Iran for a while to be able to open a bank account or PayPal account.

Not only KickStarter, but there are some proper similar websites hosted at US, UK, and Canada.

The process of moving to Armenia is yet to be done. I’ve registered a company in there and the car campaign is going to be announced in there. The decision was made after some thought. The possibility of financial connection has been provided, for example people can send micropayment through this page:

    https://flattr.com/profile/mansouryar

It seems I can receive them by Moneybookers.com, … however I plan to launch the car campaign at Indiegogo, hopefully several days later …

    .

BTW, I've reached to a cool idea for an internet, ICT-related business, mostly for the Asian markets after I encountered some issues to have access to regular financial tools as someone living in a part of Asia; if somebody likes to participate, contact me to speak ...

  6. PositiveDeviant, I just saw your last post, yes, that interview is the same.

    *

    Hi PositiveDeviant & DrBubb,

You know my opinion on such kind of news as I told earlier on that Keshe guy, so why do you question again?

    .

My comments on this story: 1. An absolute nothing, 2. A pathetic nothing, 3. A ridiculous nothing. One can choose any of these terms.

As a matter of fact, our known world is too boring for a lot of people, so they care about some matters that are pretty extraordinary such as UFOs, paranormal activities, … I have my opinions on such matters and you have yours. As you know, my attempt is considering possible ways of traveling to the outer space by novel technologies, definitely spacewarp mechanisms.

On the other hand, some people are bored and angry by crackpots who their stupid claims have ridiculed the real science and value of scientists' efforts who have devoted their lives to make our world a better place, in practice, not merely in sweet dreams. Therefore, such kind of stories are cool for the public just for a few moments, and funny for the experts having happy (humorous) mood, and stupid for the experts having serious mood.

Moreover, if western media add the taste of collateral stuffs to such stories, they would seem more awesome in the eyes of westerners! About 60-70 years ago, it was more journalistic if the location of these stories was in Germany, during the cold war a similar story certainly had to be happened in Soviet Union or one of its allies. Nowadays, regarding the Bush statement on the member of axis of evil (& Iraq was pretty done), you cannot hear such kind of news from North Korea, that place is not open enough!, so is China & Syria; Russia is old news, other countries are friends or do not have the related potential … so where else would remain that its regime is stupid enough with stupid policies?

Look at me, look at my situation please. I don't want to even name my home country and I don't let anyone to judge me by that. It was not my decision to be born in there so I am not ashamed or proud of that. However, it is our people's fault for not improving their situation at inside, and making credit & trust for themselves to the outside.

    .

    .

    .

As I've stated in my blog, I am changing my location so please wait a few weeks, if not days, to see how I would present my campaign in a different country.

  7. Thank you littledavesab for your answer. So please wait a few weeks to see my published project (campaign). Also, I would be at your service as you've known me for years in this forum. I do my best and I promise it in public by writing my words in here. Let us be hopeful. :)

    .

    .

There is not new technical information in these links (to me), but someone might find them interesting to look and hear. I guess it is a right thing to do to post new stuffs time to time to keep this subject alive in your attention:

… trying g-man, avoiding to give real info on negative energy, ahhhh …

  8. An old interview of mine reported by a blogger recently:

    http://www.tonytopping.com/2012/12/10/iranian-physicist-seeks-star-trek-technology/

I wanted to say it earlier, but I didn't find the occasion …

BTW, this new published book seems interesting:

    https://www.springer.com/engineering/mechanical+engineering/book/978-1-4614-5622-3

This was brought up in a circle of interested guys to similar topics and someone commented that is not so useful in his opinion, but I'd like to take a look at it later.

  9. An interesting blog post: http://friendofsophi...that-gnaws.html

Can Bill Gates stop hurricanes? Scientists doubt it

    By Ayesha Tejpar

(CNN) -- Hurricane experts are throwing cold water on an idea backed by billionaire Microsoft founder Bill Gates aimed at controlling the weather. Gates and a dozen other scientists have raised eyebrows by submitting patent applications for a technology to reduce the danger of approaching hurricanes by cooling ocean temperatures. It's a noble idea, given the horrible memories from Hurricane Katrina, which slammed into the Gulf Coast four years ago this week. The storm, which rated a frightening Category 3 when it made landfall in Louisiana, was blamed for $81 billion in damaged and destroyed property and the deaths of more than 1,800 men, women and children. Skeptics applaud the motive of the concept but question its feasibility. "The enormity of it, in order to do something effective, we'd have to do something at a scale that humans have never really done before," said Gabriel Vecchi, a research scientist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. How exactly would this hurricane-zapping technology work? Hurricanes are fueled by warm water, and cooling the waters surrounding a storm would slow a storm's momentum. According to the patents, many tub-like barges would be placed directly in the path of an oncoming storm. Each barge would have two conduits, each 500 feet long. One conduit would push the warm water from the ocean's surface down. The other would bring up cold water where it lies deep undersea. World renowned hurricane expert William Gray, who's been studying and predicting the storms for a half-century, also doubts whether the proposal would work. "The problem is the storms come up so rapidly," said Gray, a professor of atmospheric science at Colorado State University. "You only get two to three days warning. It's very difficult to bring up enough cold water in two to three days to have much effect." The idea itself isn't groundbreaking, according to Gray, who said it could only be feasible if the barges were put into place at the beginning of hurricane season with the idea that storms will come. "But you might do all that, and perhaps no storms would come. That's an economic problem," Gray said. Even if the technology does work, Gray said it won't completely halt a hurricane. "There is no way to stop it. The storm might weaken in the center, but the outer areas wouldn't be affected much." And flooding and storm surges are determined by these outer winds, Gray said. When word of Gates' five patent applications first made headlines in July, alarmed bloggers lit up the Internet, expressing fears that playing with ocean temperatures could lead to catastrophe, possibly forcing a storm in a different direction. That's not likely, said Kerry Emanuel, a professor in atmospheric sciences at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. "You're doing something to the ocean that the hurricane would have done anyway," Emanuel said. Cold water that churns up during a storm slows down a hurricane naturally. But the coldest water is usually at the rear of the storm, so sometimes it's too late to weaken [the storm], Emanuel said. "The key is doing it a little sooner than the storm itself does it and make [the hurricane] weaker than it would have been," he said. "There are enough experiments to find out whether hurricanes' natural cooling could steer the storm in a different location, and the answer is no, or it's a very small chance." While Emanuel believes the physics are conceivable, he says the cost of implementing the system shouldn't outweigh the benefit. "This would only be practical if the amount [of money] you spend doing this would be less than the damage caused by the hurricane," Emanuel said. Gates and scientist Ken Caldeira, both listed as inventors on the patents, did not respond to CNN's requests to comment about their venture. The patents, which were only made public last month by the U.S. Patent and Trade Office, were filed in January by Searete LLC. The company is a subsidiary of Intellectual Ventures, an invention firm run by Microsoft's former chief technology officer Nathan Myhrvold. A spokeswoman for Intellectual Ventures, which holds about 27,000 technology patents, didn't elaborate on the cost associated with the patent. "At this point, there are no plans for deployment, so there is no talk of funding," she said, adding that it could take up to 18 months for the patent application to be approved. Regardless, inventors say that this technology is not something they'll be rushing to use anytime soon. "This type of technology is not something humankind would use as a 'Plan A' or 'Plan B,'" Paul "Pablos" Holman, an inventor in the Intellectual Ventures laboratory, wrote on the company blog. "These inventions are a 'Plan C,' where humans decide that we've exhausted all our behavior changing and alternative energy options and need to rely on mitigation technologies. If our planet is in this severe situation, then our belief is that we should not be starting from scratch at investigating mitigation options." Hurricane expert Gray agrees. "I don't think this is anything that's going to be done in the next few decades in a practical sense, but maybe further down the line," Gray said. "I would love to see Bill Gates, with all his money, use some of it to experiment."

Look at the bold red terms; the exact problems which spacewarp physics could solve. Integrating those ideas might (give contributions to) upgrade us to a Type I civilization of Kardashev scale.

  10. So, I released four videos so far, and you can consider them as the initial steps of a long way.

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

My videos were mentioned in these threads:

Build your own Wormhole? Mr Mansouryar plans to do so, and here … Also, the video #01 was added to this page

BTW, at page 192 of this book, I was named, but it's just a tiny hint …

Moreover, this is a related project:

    http://www.kickstart...ar-trek-physics

Oh wait! It's about writing a book, not an actual experiment as I aim!

    .

As I told in the fourth video, fortunately the private sector is rather active in this field and I found some interesting examples:

    1) http://www.i4is.org/ that I liked this part more: http://www.i4is.org/proj_casimir.html

    2) http://globalbem.com

    3) http://www.buildtheenterprise.org/ (having nice images!)

  11. You're right. Sometimes, I feel making a wormhole is messing with laws of nature and maybe it will not lead to a good end. I feel the same about this project, I guess the nature forces would make a disastrous shame out of this project, let me not enter into the technical details.

According to traditional ethics, it is not moral for me to say shift the fund of that project to my project. I am afraid many people would interpret it as a reason of jealousy. However, I predict many moments will be wasted, many lives will be lost and many capitals will be destroyed, then majority of people would find out the value of spacewarp transportation.

I understand groups of experts have devoted much of their professional lives on similar projects and surely they have caused and would cause some technological achievements, but the final goal of transporting has to be FTL travels, not anything less than that.

  12. MM / I found someone "on the same wavelength" as you, when it comes to Building & Using Wormhole :

    ...

    /more-Graal, from Brisbane :

    http://www.newmars.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=5816

Thanks for mentioning that post. Indeed, this deals with the wormhole technology in an engineering point of view for some applications inside the solar system or even the Milky Way galaxy. I made a brief reply to that post:

    http://www.newmars.com/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=105102#p105102

Although, I still don't know how he reached to those numbers.

In comparison with the aviation industry, we try to prove the concept of flight and make a prototype airplane. The A-380 and F-35, the most advanced planes in their class would come later.

I've been in numerous forums and several of their posts were really innovative.

DonyLee offers up the Mathematics for a Wormhole

    ... VIDEO ...

    He says:

Time travel is possible in mathematics! Hope you enjoy the 2-part video.

Check out www.gaussianmath.com for a more indepth explanation and other interesting topics in mathematics.

I liked his style of teaching math, but I didn't understand his equations and their relations with wormholes. That would be nice if he releases the part #2 of that video. Recently, I received a phrase as part of an email from a friend, Todd, that is quite valuable:

"The difference between Math, Physics and Engineering: In mathematics anything is possible, in physics there are laws to obey, and in engineering, it must be practical to be achievable."

    .

    You will enjoy this, MM

I've watched it before, but thanks, it's a cool & funny demonstration!

  13. If one remembers my previous posts in this forum or other forums, this kind of fund raising has always been my favorite. The budget for this project could be severely reduced if one is ready to appropriate a location for this project temporarily, bigger than a garage! Also, if I could borrow some tools from a company or lab, that would be great, compared to buying them.

I am not comfortable if somebody orders me what to do, but similar to my current part-time job as an insurance agent, I like to be responsible to a group of people, I am quite committed for this kind of job.

Anyway, starting from this forum could be nice, when I don’t have a mood, I suffice to refer the people who email me to read all this topic, I know it's not easy regarding the involved links.

Regarding the gross economical sanctions against the Iranian government and our problems in foreign policies, it’s quite clear I can't do anything publicly as long as I'm here. However, I've adjusted my life with this assumption that I'll live here for a long time and will develop the theoretical part of the project, so slowly. I'm used to live like this, but if I'd face a proper opportunity like this kind of fund raising, I'll consider going abroad seriously. To be reasonable, I would suggest the date of starting within the next 2 years, but if people would do it sooner, I'd start sooner as well. I'm thinking to explain all these matters in a video and consulting with people in here, especially DrBubb. If people would have a positive viewpoint towards my plan, we could develop it, then send it to that website, otherwise, I'll keep thinking on next decades in Iran. Obviously I need a friend who accepts the financial issues, probably in the U.S, because since Iran is removed from the global financial system, I can't receive even one penny.

Indeed, GEI can be an interesting platform for KickStarter projects. I care about my own project mostly, but I posted the news with the hope of usefulness for other members and viewers. We can cooperate to launch the spacewarp project, I prefer an English-speaking country, but the biggest obstacles are the legal issues. I'm not even sure that website would agree with publishing my idea on its domain. Although, I see that website just as a cool opportunity, if it would work, I'll achieve to my dream of doing actual work on spacewarp project, if not, I'll keep my faith in good events at the future.

  14. In the conventional conditions, I've considered the experimental successes of wormhole physics in this manner, but any miracle for budget problem could change the conditions very much.

Does anyone have any comment on this website? Is it that miracle?

    http://www.kickstarter.com/

This might be helpful for spacewarp project, but I doubt it.

Perhaps, I need to make a video:

    http://www.kickstarter.com/help/school/making_your_video

However, that is not so easy. I need to trust to an American person:

    Also, I liked these projects:

    .

    .

FYI, I've forgot to do anything non-theoretical about that project in a near future; that might be called destiny.

  15. Thanks for the changes. Indeed, when I see my line of research, I categorize them as the answers to this question: How to keep / survive? So I can't make a stable connection to that line of research trying to answer: How to know / understand? When I prepare a scientific paper, I behave like an artist, say a novelist. When I evaluate others' works, I become like a short-sighted businessman: How can it be used fast? The picture is so simple (to me): You hear an apparently proper planet has been discovered, you decide to go there, you check the proposed ways - for some reasons - you consider speed increasing inappropriate enough, the only remaining way is distance reducing, you conclude a spacewarp need to be created somehow in a 4D framework. The road map is as simple as that.

I am not an expert in particles physics, but I think this new breakthrough is pretty important for that field, although the practical consequences are more attractive to me; the issue that would be specified in the future.

The complexity and budget have made some scientists to predict in the interval of not even coming years, but coming decades. In the conventional conditions, I've considered the experimental successes of wormhole physics in this manner, but any miracle for budget problem could change the conditions very much.

  16. I'm not sure. IMO, I'm addicted to internet and this is not so good. It might be correct to have a less being in the virtual world. I tend to end any subject, then deal with another subjects, that's a reason I prefer to stay in a thread, instead of opening many similar ones. That would be cool, at least to me, to see the changes in my posts since I came to this thread a few years ago, that would be even cooler to see them in the say ten years later, if you keep having the site and thread and I'd be the only user of this ID.

Anyway, the current subject that would make me busy within the next few months is my hybrid car plan. That's really promising to me, however no hard math or numerical simulations or actual experiments directly support my ideas in this plan, but the basic physics behind it is new (for this industry) and functional. This could be an answer to serious problems, e.g., read this:

    http://uk.news.yahoo.com/bid-end-fuel-panic-govt-changes-advice-034603636.html

Lately, my plan was published in a new-made website:

    http://tinyurl.com/6tvqpto

    http://intellectualarchive.com/getfile.php?file=CQ4MIYI63Tv&orig_file=Powertrain%20in%20a%20Hybrid%20Car%20with%20Electricity%20and%20Compressed-Air%20Propulsions.pdf

I've found a crush on it and I will reach it to a definite point, finding an investor/company to work on it, or making its theoretical principles proper enough to realize it by myself in a far future, like the wormhole project.

  17. I blame ETs for what they did to the Middle East at centuries ago. The ETs made troubles and they might like to fix them; although I don't know exactly what race caused troubles and whether the same race is fixing them or not. Obviously this part of the earth follows the instructions from the sky, than instruction from the ground. Only a great event from the sky will truly change the current equations.

  18. In the summer of 2007, for instance, the Arctic melted. By the end of the summer, there was 22 percent less sea ice than ever observed before. A comparable melt the following summer briefly opened the Northwest and Northeast Passages simultaneously, very likely offering human beings their first chance to circumnavigate the Arctic on open water. This melt was 30 years ahead of the computer forecasts about global warming. It confirmed that we were warming the planet. There was no other explanation on offer. Worse, it was one of a number of feedback loops that would amplify that warming: Instead of the nice, white sheet of ice covering the Arctic, a mirror that reflected 80 percent of incoming solar radiation back out to space, we all at once had big pools of blue water, which absorb 80 percent of those rays of the sun. We'd kicked off the warming, but now nature was taking over and doing the job on her own.
