This rant may be overdue. But I think the time has come to speak the obvious. We must put an end to the trend of granting more and more privileges to females in Western society - while abusing men and masculinity. They have been accommodated to a point where our society is deeply threatened. The spectre of third wave feminists playing victim, and demanding more and more must stop, and must stop now.

This is not one man speaking, this is becoming more obvious everyday. And like some people have spoken of Peak Oil and peak pollution...

I am predicting Peak Bitch within 2016.

While Hillary Clinton supporters try to hype the unfavorability ratings of her general election opponent, getting ignored in the liberal maelstrom of deceit is the skyrocketing unfavorability rating of their own presumptive nominee.

The more the general public sees of Clinton, the more they despise her. The Huffington Post favorability rating tracker shows this clearly since Clinton emerged fully into the light during early 2013:

 

 

At the start of 2013, Clinton's unfavorability rating was in the low 30s. It has since exploded to about 55%, equal to that of Donald Trump. Some recent polls place it at nearly 60%.

The problem for Clinton is her trend relative to Trump in the context of the amount and type of media attention they have each been receiving over the past year.

 

Since June of 2015, Trump's favorable/unfavorable ratings are unchanged. No previous presidential candidate in the media age has experienced the level of attacks that Trump has already seen. Despite sustained blistering offensives from across the complete political spectrum – ranging from the Tea Partiers through the libertarians out to the communists – the entire mainstream plus alternative media scene was unable to make a negative dent, no matter what they said.

 

And then there is Hillary. In spite of being sheltered and coddled from any serious scrutiny, the public's view of her has soured dramatically, and it keeps getting worse. Once the full general election spotlight is on Clinton, if the historical relationship holds, the unfavorable ratings could climb much higher.

Clinton attacks Trump, and his numbers don't move. Trump doesn't say anything, and Clinton's numbers drop on their own. Trump attacks Clinton, and her numbers drop further. Even some Clinton supporters are surely starting to realize that the Democrats backed the wrong candidate for electability in 2016. Bernie Sanders would have stood a far better chance at giving Trump a run for his money.

But it's too late now for the Democrats. They have to dance with Clinton through the general election, and if the last 28 months of trends are any indication, the next six months are not going to be pretty.

TV is overrun with unflattering portrayals of women—where's the uproar?

The new TV series GCB—originally titled Good Christian Bitches after the book of the same name—premiered last month on ABC. Don’t Trust the B–– in Apt. 23 will premiere on the same network April 11. Can you imagine a network using “the N word” in a show title? Don’t trust the N-word in Apt. 23. That won’t happen, but between 1998 and 2007, the use of the word “bitch,” on television tripled, from 431 uses on 103 prime-time episodes in 1998 to 1, 277 uses on 685 shows in 2007. I don’t have the figures for 2012, but I’d be willing to bet that this latest development means our culture is even more comfortable with the term.

It’s not a power term. In fact, it’s a term of abuse and the reason people get away with using it so frequently is that our society still doesn’t take sexism and women's rights as seriously as it should. The past few months' parade of birth control battles, conservative state abortion laws, Planned Parenthood defunding, and calling young women sluts is evidence of that.

ABC’s choice to allude to the word bitch in the titles of these shows is a well-thought out marketing decision and GCB is only the latest in a long line of television shows that entertain through the denigration of women even while executives, like Two & A Half Men co-creator Lee Aronsohn, criticize the industry for “approaching peak vagina on television, the point of labia saturation” (As far as I know, no one ever complained of television before female comedies being a sausage fest).

Can fans love a comedian, but hate their politics?

Some members of Amy Schumer’s audience seemed to think so this weekend. Around 200 people walked out of her Tampa show when Schumer launched into a withering takedown of Donald Trump. The Tampa Bay Times reports some fans booed or walked out after Schumer called Trump an “orange, sexual-assaulting, fake- college-starting monster.”

 

It’s somewhat of a surprise that fans were caught off guard because Schumer isn’t known for suppressing her political views.

In fact, she has been very vocal about her opinions in the past. She’s advocated for Hillary Clinton on various talk show appearances, pushed for gun-control legislation and even features a callout in the back of her new book informing readers how they can take action on the issue. That’s all without mentioning the various sketches on her show that make her political standing crystal clear.

But in the Tampa audience, some were more than surprised – they were offended, and took to Twitter to voice their disagreement.
