Very nice place - with clean air and fantastoc views. Property prices there are nearly on par with Makati. Hard to say if there is the same degree of oversupply, but probably not. Will the main highway facing the volcano get over-built with high rise condos, and create mass traffic jams? maybe. what can stop it? B: They are moving the development farther down outside Tagaytay along Alfonso going towards Nasugbu beach. Maybe due to the worsening traffic problems. Megaworld, Sta Lucia, and SM have been gobbling the hectares of land out there. The idea of Twin Lakes by Megaworld is to create a large man made lake to rival the original Taal lake value with properties oriented to that view. Last I heard apart from Magnolia farms selling off their property to SM, is also the project called Little Singapore as a township development to showcase premium and high quality homes.
