  3. I sincerely hope on an opening of a reliable "remote controllable" storage facility in Hong Kong. Like GM/BV only based in Hong Kong - truly outside the US's and Europe's jurisdiction.

  7. http://gold.approximity.com/since1968/Fede...s_Rate_LOG.html An account that pays the Federal Funds Rate would have developed like below (adjusted for CPI). Falling parts are where real rates are negative. http://gold.approximity.com/since1968/Fede...PI-adj_LOG.html Here a broader comparison: http://gold.approximity.com/since1968/CPI_...on_USD_LOG.html

  9. While there has been a bounce in house prices, there has also been a bounce in inflation. Inflation-adjusted, the bounce is not that impressive. Here are the newest updated Approximity charts: http://gold.approximity.com/since2008/UK_House_Prices.html http://gold.approximity.com/since2008/UK%20RPI.html http://gold.approximity.com/since1968/UK_H...es_RPI-adj.html
  10. DOUBLE POST I bought a whole bunch of coins below $17.
  11. Oh, Ok. It had sounded as if some people had started a shouting match / image spamming spree over there, and the forum had suffered. OK, so they don't have this kind of problem there. Well, yes, we know that they are not really interested in economical facts. There interested in selling property ads.
  12. Can someone fill me in about what happened over at the madhouse?
  13. Why don't you have a look at the Iceland threads (at least two on here)? I'd say: Yes.

  17. Excellent. Unfortunately, I spent my monthly allocation on silver a few days ago, but let us know in the future. Cheers.
  18. Grate Depression levels. And we are not even close to the trough yet.
  19. Interesting. What do you think about the semi-public sector, like universities? I would expect cuts there too. Funding must drop some time soon.
  20. He once said so. As a lawyer he (in expectation!) lacks the physical/quantitative knowledge and logical abilities* to judge gold and the current market situation in a proper way. To make up for it, he tries to "win" the conversation with whatever arguments seem usable - the more the better. Anyone who doubts what I wrote above, just look at how FUBAR the banking system is, and then consider that CEOs, regulators and politicians are often lawyers. * I know, I know, some people think that law is logic - maybe it is. The point is, had he got these kind of abilities, he would be more likely to have a natural sciences background. EDIT: Knavel is a lawyer, right? Let's hope he won't read this.
  21. Spain scraping the bottom of the barrel?
