  1. I am. I truly am. EDIT: In fact, I have been short GBP for at least 6 months. I haven't made much noise about it.
  2. So, when the market goes up, these MoFos are happy to predict +15% a year. When the market goes down, these bastewards refuse to predict -15%. Bloody VIs. Low house prices are good for everyone. Free houses would be paradise. Halifax and Nationwide decide not to publish annual house price forecasts http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economi...-forecasts.html EDIT: I think these guys should be prosecuted for market manipulation. This can't be legal.
  3. Still a good time to buy silver (at spot). http://gold.approximity.com/since2006/Gold-Silver-Ratio.html
  4. http://gold.approximity.com/since1985/Gold_GBP.html At least one "good" effect of Sterling's ride into the sunset.
  5. http://goldismoney.info/forums/showpost.ph...postcount=24038 It's coming to an end soon.
  6. It is impressive enough if the chart is correctly reflecting the situation. One or two more months like this, and the paper world is finished. Pre-Christmas sale in gold seems to be on. Good for bargain hunters.
  7. WHY do people try and trade THIS: http://gold.approximity.com/since2006/Gold_GBP.html Makes no sense at all IMHO.
  8. This will propel gold to the moon: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/comment...g-your-way.html Because why would anyone put money in a turd like, say, HBoS, only to have some credit risk and even have to pay for it? Much better to put money into gold then, with services like BV or GM.
  9. Very nice: the Cartel is striking back now. Keep in mind: Dan Norcini said the markets would trade quite thinly around this time of the year. So, anyone who wants to smack the metals will do it now. Time to buy some, IMO.
  10. GLD holdings at record high. Investors don't seem to mind gold price volatility too much. They know the game is up. http://www.jsmineset.com/wp-content/upload...-12-17-2008.pdf
  11. I've never sold a single ounce, so I didn't lose out on anything and I can be relaxed on the way up, as well as down.
  12. We should treasure the one or two people who are brave enough to post permanently PM negative stuff (seriously).
  13. If physical is so rare NOW, how will he as a fund be able to by meaningful amounts THEN?
  14. Yes, it might catch up with gold at a very late stage. But who knows. Anyway, having bought in 05-06 is not all that bad. http://gold.approximity.com/since2005/Silver_GBP.html
  15. QUOTE (Cuthbert Calculus @ Dec 16 2008, 12:10 AM) http://www.gata.org/node/4843 Good find. Yes, I also think that the central banks themselves will have to revert to pushing the price of gold beyond all boundaries we've ever dreamt of. They need to create inflation, so they will let gold run once Gold-man Sucks have covered all their shorts.

  17. This is how much money you make (1% a week constantly over a period of 24 years!*) if you buy when the COMEX gold rapists come in (London PM), and sell when the good, honest guys from the East buy their physical (London AM). Transactions costs will kill your strategy, of course. But still! BTW, if you did it the other way round (sell PM, buy AM) you would lose 0.67% a week. *EDIT: That is 24,720,000%, by the way! Tell me there's no Cartel! http://gold.approximity.com/since1985/Gold_USD_PMAM.png
