Yep you sussed it. Its whats known as a troll gang They appear to be strangers on here but its obvious they are colluding off board. Yep I would tend to agree with that. I am looking for the blow off top and then hopefully we will get a strong pullback to the $1000 area and a buying opportunity I remember David Morgan saying that he always keeps a core position of 75% invested in gold and trades in and out on rallies and pullbacks. This is what i do as i always have the core position to fall back on if i get it badly wrong

Looks like the $1200 mark didnt offer much resistance? Anyone want to put their d*ck on the chopping block and predict a top in this rally? For me, I am lookin for $1300, then I will be ligthening up in stages

That is something that i also noticed. The last 2 times the price immmediately fell away sharply after breaching 1000. This time, its almost as if the price is trying to consolidate around 1000 before moving higher

I stuck to mutual funds mainly BR G&G as I didnt feel confident in my own stock picking abilities. I stayed out of juniors completely as I thought they were a bit risky. I bought my first batch of bullion in july and has done very well in sterling......now up 20% in 5 months!...wahay Only wish I had chosen a bigger proportion of physical in my portfolio. Having said that, from what I am reading, I am expecting the miners to outperform physical this year.

I do hope you are right! Black Rock G&G has been slaughtered this year although has come back quite nicely over the last 2 months. Maybe I need a break! Just looked at the buy prices for coins in sterling on CID.....krugers/pandas are now over £600!

Nice move in NY so far and at the good news is that its in the right direction for a change, although I fully expect that it this rally wont last and the price will be duly clobbered back to a new low tomorrow But who knows......I am just trying to keep calm, hanging on to my positions and enjoying the ride for now

Yes I found it very useful. Probably half of it I was aware of from here and listening to the various podcasts, but it struck me as invaluable to someone who is starting out in gold investing. I was about to post up asking for info other reputable bullion dealers as the one i have been using has irritated me somewhat, but your post answered that for me. Think I will try ATS if you think they are good? Cheers
