Guest Dramatic Exit
I checked the control panel, then did a search, but did not find an answer; so: is it possible to completely delete your account on GEI and, if so, how? Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. I'm not sure what ordinary members can do. Mods can: 1. Delete all posts of a particular person. 2. Delete all topics started by a particular person. 3. Suspend or delete an account. I'm not sure what DrBubb's policy is on topics/posts when people leave. Deleting them can ruin/disrupt informative threads. drbubb
I prefer to suspend for unreasonably long periods
Steve Netwriter
For security reasons (ie not leaving dormant accounts lying around which could at some time be hacked etc), some people prefer to have their account deleted when they decide to leave, but are happy for their posts to remain. Steve Netwriter
OK, this is the first time I've deleted an account. Topics and posts have been left, and the author was happy about that. As you can see the account no longer exists, the username has changed, and the topics/posts are still here. It's sad to see good posters leave, but as we all know, we join places and for whatever reasons we decide to leave. I wish you well Sir
