Write-up is Attached. This is a sort of Orinoco Gold #2,. and many of the same people are involved
I just agreed to invest $15k at 8 cents.
MktCap is less than $15mn, with similar size CF expected next year, and beyond

2/
Red Eagle / ca:RD (now $0.31) - My favorite story from the Conference ... 12-mos :
5 yrs: was C$0.31, hit C$1.05, now: $0.275 = -11.3% at 10/11/17

You have to buy in the market. The Howe st Brokers don't like them, since they did 5-6 placements without brokers, and so are under-followed. They will be in production in mid-2016. They have the license and a $60mn financing commitment they will start to draw down next month.
At $1100 gold, they expect to have $50mn pa CF, and current Mkt Cap is about $50 Mn. They are in Columbia, and will be the first new mine there

3/
Southern Gold / au:SAU (now $0.02 = A$0.20 in 2017) - Microcap, with interesting story and upside ... 12-mos

Simon Mitchell remembers 'a friend in Oz' from "the Korean gold deal", and felt bad about leaving that company when he did after having had a dispute with the chairman. This company he now runs is being "reinvented". They have a JV with Metals-X to mine a small pit, and that will soon be expanded to a larger pit thanks to an amendment to the JV - and that larger pit may expand production by 3X or 4X. He wants to drill underneath the pit ASAP, and would like to raise may $2-3million to do that and some other work. If he waits until the cash flow is earned next year, they will lose certain flexibility in mine development. He is also looking to do some similar deals in the same area, and has some transactions like that under discussion.

4/
Kin Mining / au:KIN (now $0.10) : Co. formed in merger of two others. I met Ian Finch ... 12-mos

These guys are in Perth. Terry T, ex-Rumble guy is involved. Their exploration story and some near term ideas make sense. They are like Southern Gold, but before the Metal-X JV. Since they are in Perth, i suggested you should meet them, and they were interested. They could probably use your help in future financings, if you like the story.

4/
Tyranna Gold / au:TYX (now $0.03) ... 2-yrs : 12-mos :
5 yrs: was A$.105, hit A$.155, now: A$0.010 = -90.5% at 10/11/17

interesting but complex story. They have essentially surrounded the Challenger mine, and control 51% of a JV, which may allow then to do a high accretive deal to takeover the Challenger mine, and they can use the plant to process Gold in a nearby JV deposit.

Let me know if you want intros

Fingers crossed on this one, which I own:
AWV.au / Anova. (now $0.054) ... 4-yrs : 4yrL : 2-yrs ... 12-mos : 10d :
5 yrs: was A$0.054, hit A$0.19, now: $0.093 = +72.2% at 10/11/17 : try 7 cents??

Waiting and thinking we will see a chart breakout any day on Anova.

Hole 12 analysis returns longest and highest grade intercepts to date

Company Update

20th October 2015

Cascabel Exploration Update

Hole 12 analysis returns longest and highest grade intercepts to date at SolGold's flagship Cascabel Project, northern Ecuador.

1312m @ 0.67% Cu, and 0.63 g/t Au, for 1.05% CuEq

The Board of SolGold (AIM code: SOLG) is pleased to provide the following exploration update for the Company's Cascabel copper-gold porphyry project in Ecuador.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Ø CSD-15-012 ("Hole 12") final assay results from high grade porphyry copper gold mineralisation returns world class intersection of:

· 1312m @ 0.67 % Cu, 0.63 g/t Au, for 1.05 % CuEq, including:

o 1002m @ 0.76 % Cu, 0.77 g/t Au, for 1.22 % CuEq, and

o 576m @ 1.03 % Cu, 1.19 g/t Au, for 1.75 % CuEq.

Ø Aguinaga maturing as a drill target with similar geophysical signature as the giant Alumbrera copper mine in Argentina.

Commenting on today's update, SolGold CEO and Managing Director, Nick Mather said:
"Another intersection of more than a kilometre of copper and gold mineralization in Hole 12 confirms that SolGold's Cascabel Project has the potential to be one of the most significant copper-gold discoveries of recent times. The stunning chalcopyrite-bornite-magnetite mineralisation includes very high grade zones intersected on the Main Limb, and still leaves the Alpala Central system open to the north, south east, east and at depth. Importantly, this intersection in Hole 12 significantly advances our plans for the definition of a large high grade resource at Alpala Central. This is very pleasing and we also believe it bodes well for the discovery of further deposits along the Alpala Structural Zone and on the cluster of porphyry targets identified within the broader Cascabel Exploration Licence.

it's been a great few months for many of the ASX gold producers/explorers. A number of the ones I watch are up multi bags already. Prices were so depressed that, for some of these, their recovery is still only a small tick up when viewing a 10 year chart.

Out of the 25 or so ASX gold/silver stocks that I watch the producers have had the best run (such as MOY, SAR, RMS and more recently TRY and BDR). Now the price and volume of the explorers I watch is picking up.

Good move for SOLG, they must be ripe for raising funds soon whilst the irons hot.

Could just smell it a mile off lol 1.3million odd shares at 2.3p to raise £3 million. Shame for those with short term horizons that get suckered on such moves, didn't see where the share price touched Friday but expect they were asking close to 4p.

Norton Goldfields and Carbine
The Company has continued discussions with Norton Goldfields in regards to the Mining Property
Sale Agreement it has with Raging Bull Metals. Carbine will require title transfer to fund and develop the project.
Mount Morgan Project Financing
Discussions have continued with financiers who have expressed interest in providing finance for the project
development. A successful financing outcome is dependent on obtaining all project approvals, moving to
100% project ownership and entering into a long term pyrite offtake agreement
==

“At the current gold price it works,” James told Mining Journal. “It ticks all the boxes.”

Carbine (ASX: CRB) acquired Mount Morgan from Norton Goldfields, a company that believed in the Queensland gold project but got completely preoccupied with the Paddington and surrounding gold assets in Western Australia before it became part of China’s Zijin Mining Group.

Central to reviving Mount Morgan is a process flowsheet conceived under Carbine’s previous management that has copper and then pyrite separated out from the ore before it goes into a conventional gold leaching and elution circuit to enable much higher gold recoveries than previously envisaged. The process has been shown to be technically sound after multiple phases of testwork.

Carbine’s prefeasibility study pointed to a profitable, low-cost operation, costing about A$60 million (US$45 million), and producing 46,500oz gold-equivalent for eight years at forecast all-in sustaining costs of only US$234/oz (using a gold price of US$1,175/oz; copper at $5,100/t; pyrite at $60/t; and a 0.75 AUD/USD exchange rate). The importance of returns on high-grade pyrite sales (211,000tpa) and copper sulphate output is underlined by the PFS numbers that have pyrite worth about 70,000oz and copper sulphate some 30,000oz of gold of the 330,000oz resource base.

Urquhart Bauxite - permitting
Conditions agreed with queensland state government and awaiting final mining lease.
Also the time lines have been extended and it looks like mlm are still aiming for late maiden shipment in 2017.
10 weeks left for first maiden shipment so time pressure is ON.

Take a look at MMI (Metro)
They are in the same space and capped at $250m building the plant for next year start up.
They want to produce 7m over the first 4 years while MLM will produce approx 1m tons next year and ramp up to their numbers after that.

MLM is awaiting the final signature from the Minister and then its all go folks imo.
Even if you cut the numbers by 1/3, MLM is worth approx 5 times the current price as the ramp up takes place.

Both companies have to deal with the wet season, so you can see this is super cheap with all the environmental permits in place and the money to turn it on. Not long now imo. dyor
ps
The minister granted Metro their license on the 29th sept and the market cap has increased some $60m since then.

"The Company has recently purchased the Bowdens Silver Project located near Mudgee in New South Wales. The Project holds substantial resources as the largest undeveloped silver project in Australia and one of the largest globally".

Only familiar with Pure and Victoria.

Any you are interested in Dr B?

I’ve had modest success since the turn of the year. My standout is Cardinal, Chalice has done me well but I sold last week, Oklu also doing well too but missed its initial rise. One other I hold are Nusantara (disappointing), As is Silver Mines Ltd, sold (or rather stopped out at 10% loss). Dacian I took a big haircut on their recent fundraiser, fortunately neither were big plays; around half my Chalice stake, which is why I jumped out. Cardinal looks likely to be sold in my opinion, I’ve cashed half on the rise.

So my Aussie foray is a bit muddled so far.
