Pixel8r
I have a question for those more knowledgable than myself. With the last COT report showing near record short positions on Gold and Silver, when will the traders with these short positions have to cover them - especially if the price refuses to budge low enough for it to be profitable. Can they just hold onto losing positions forever, thus never covering? How can they continue to short something and never cover it? You are correct they will have to cover at some stage, which will propel the price a lot higher. They are going up against the chinese this time, who won't be tricked by their paper games. romans holiday
Anyone that's been here for any length of time knows you're a `goldbug` Gold bull actually. Gold bugs tend to be way too emotional about something as mundane as money.

warpig
I thought the highest price in USD was $1,033 but I've just checked and it seems it was 17th March 2008 and it reached $1,023.50, is this right? Are we now in un-charted territory at $1,030.50? Deserves a bloody rocket doesn't it?
