  1. Forgive me but unless you are paying for the farm with gold, why not borrow as much of the future junk currency as possible?
  2. Could this mean Doncaster being highlighted once more as the London fast commute hotspot? Those were the days; she said, pausing only to wipe away an unexpected tear of nostalgia.
  3. Once one by-passes the tedious three dimensional past present future illusion, then watching the mayans and the evolvement of the microchip at the same 'time' should keep one on a high, until the council tax bill drops on the mat. (The UK can be so relentlessly cloying). With guidance from the elders, one could recall (rather than learn) one's place in the universe with substances; but not in this spiritually bankrupt culture. Priestcraft has so much to answer for. Technical progress tends to mask the stench of stagnation 'elsewhere'. However with an eternity to perform in, and the unconditional love of the 'Is', we will all remember, one day.
  4. So 1 Gf's morality is similar to that of Calandra? 2 The offences outlined in post 2 are greatly exaggerated? 3 We are all automatons that cannot tell them apart?
  5. He just threw a switch and now would not dream of deceiving and defrauding his fellow man? Having an instantly adjustable morality and a conscience blanking facility is vital for 'getting on' it seems. Plus: "Forgive me father, I might have sinned". Such a big big org. There must be safety in numbers....
  6. Dear Bubb. One is in awe of your insight into the mind of someone you have never met
  7. Did you ever regret rejecting that career in the diplomatic corp Bubb?
  8. Your first (deleted) thoughts were better Carlton. Numerology has as much validity as astrology
  9. All is going according to plan. Their 'dithering' is compulsory. JD, I laid it all out for you at the bottom of page 161
  10. Why not just chop their fingers in situ? Imagine, the rest of the world dependant upon the stability of UK property prices. "Brown was a visionary" will say future economics teachers. Yes, I am getting bored with it all again. Is it any surprise? World economic collapse November 10th. Or maybe a bit later, but certainly not before.
  11. The days it was -20 C are not. Mid 90s, utter chaos. Same latitude as Moscow. Average temperature will halve if the gulf stream ceases. Now there is a good case for renting
  12. My partner had a similar shock when he moved in with me. He still can't believe folk are daft enough to pay council tax & daft property prices for the 'privilege' of living there. I'll never forget the look on his face after a holiday in Greece in early June when the plane's decent down to Glasgow was through 15 mins of black cloud, to be trapped in a still cold, expensive, alien (to him), world.
  13. Normally, yes. Can you get a grant for further research?
  14. That three minute response time smacks of desperation Bubb!
  15. John, if you pick the Glasgow summer (usually one week in May), & then (re the other thread) go to France, you will have two summers each year I'm still wondering why folk don't do a little more research & find those small places with an amazing quality (of life)/price ratio
  16. Excellent. At least this is one ten-year 'Final Solution' plan that is on course. Next?
  17. So no woman women named. What a relief
  18. Dammit JD. I can't argue with any of that! - Thread derailing mode on: How about 7.25%? As a valued client, I wanted to offer you the opportunity to invest in the new Caxton FX Bond. Over the years, we have grown successfully on the loyalty and support of our clients and when it came to deciding how best to fund the next stages of our growth, I made a very deliberate decision to find a way of giving a return to our valued customers and involving them more closely in the continuing growth and success of the business. To achieve this we have created the Caxton FX Bond, a simple investment product that will provide investors with a better rate of return on their savings than UK high street banks currently offer and provide us with the working capital to accelerate our growth. The Caxton FX Bond is a non-convertible non-transferable four-year initial fixed term investment of between £2,000 and £50,000 per bondholder, which will offer bondholders a 7.25% (gross) annual return on their investment. Subscriptions of a minimum of £2,000 and thereafter in multiples of £1,000 – maximum investment £50,000 4 year initial term – the Caxton FX Bond maybe redeemed in full upon the Bondholder giving 6 months notice prior to the fourth anniversary or any subsequent anniversary 7.25% (gross) per annum – interest paid every 6 months For full details on the Caxton FX Bond Issue and to download our Bond Invitation Document and application form please go to www.caxtonfxbond.co.uk Thread derailing mode off.
  19. Forget ISAs. For you dear JD I present the IPS: The Individual Polarity Shift account. Ideal for those still seeing everything as totally three-dimensional; & black & white
  20. ?? - I'm guessing, anything to do with hoarding & Methinkshe's posts?
  21. Fiat paper is just holiday money, not a store of wealth.
  22. Fine, we will just watch sterling's further decline as a wealth store. The more the 'govt'./banksters press on the property fake pedal the further sterling falls & before you know it £3 trillion odd isn't worth the ex-triple A pc screen it's displayed on.
  23. It is what will get you the whole house in 4 years time So why not slum the interim on a Caribbean island?
  24. I just assumed Dom had too many subscribers again & was using his proven method for thinning the numbers I agree GF
