  1. I hope hes wrong. Made feel a little sick when I read that!

Why cant you post some nice positive charts Ker? I guess they are positive if you haven't got gold yet or trade it.

i think positive charts will be showing up later, after the crisis ends. but I don't know why are you worried?, i also hold physical, I bought silver at 17, at 15, and 10, whats the problem with going down if you are not planing to sell it until 50 ? just buy more and that's it. You should see this chart as an oportunity to load up more to your portfolio, not as a scary halloween movie ;)

  2. I'll second that Ker. I'm assuming your Kernull on Axstones GIS thread as well. Several on there have been rubbishing your daily/weekly forecasting, stick to your guns.

Keep it coming - top stuff - even though I'm not trading I admire someone who can make the calls in this environment!! ;)

thanks guys, will be working on the dollar top chats this weekend, i think we got it today.

  3. Just out of interest, Ker ... do you trade your charts, or just do it for amusement/education/confirmation of a long-term strategy?

of course, if you see I charted something, that's because or I am going to get in, or I am already in, or I am thinking to get out. You even may deduce if I lost or won. ;) ;) I have to do charts every time because i need to watch for my money, and I share them with you because publishing enforces me to do a better charting, (kind of speak on public), you cant just say, ohh, gold is going to go up to XXX, you have to find solid stuff behind the move. Also, it is pleasant to be useful to other people, when they find your idea useful for them.

  4. Ker, do you think we will go even lower?

gold did not hit my lower channel line, but the environment for the rally is very good, dollar topped, stocks holded, we should have rally tomorrow, and monday, and tuesday, retest the bottoms. I think silver is more oversold than gold, so it has more solid bottom

  5. it is less probable , i see accumulations by market makers, on the dips

they may leave it at 9.40 on close, but Asia may take it as a bottom and confirm

wow! below 9.60 but above 9.40, Asia speaks tonight. still above support, if it holds it is going to be a pretty good jump up next week, to 12 at least.

  6. if 9.60 is broken today, do you still think silver will be targeting 7 this week (as stated on your previous chart on the 19th?)

  7. but since we're on the subject of TA I'd like to offer my view on it's usefulness,

this is much more deeper than you think, but it is very simple explained, could you build a house without drawing an exact plan? no? well, how can you build a portfolio if you don't have a plan on a chart? that's it

  8. I was looking at these triangles yesterday.

What weight do you assign to your bearish prediction and what weight to your bullish prediction?

i am 90% bearish. because crude closed lower, and the DOW is set up in a nasty triangle continuation pattern, so , if it goes to 7,500 , and all the world stock exchanges with it, guess what is going to happen to the dollar index.

  9. Looks like the resistance from all three down channels has been broken for a second time today.

I'm thinking that the gold price in euros is playing a role here as it tests the 600 region.

1 channel broken, but still we have the other 2 valid. monday often is used by professionals to collect money from amateurs, and then tuesday, they bash it. volume is low, oil testing upper subchannel band (i will be surprised if it breaks it), basicaly a consolidation , sideways movement before the big move, we still may go to 805 within the downtrend
