  1. Spot on IMO, you've heard of the Greenspan put now we have the Bernanke bluff.... Another shake out of the weak hands is due.
  2. An excellent interview of Bill Murphy (GATA & Lemetropole cafe) by Jordan Roy-Byrne (Trendsman): http://www.thefinancialtube.com/video/3135...LeMetropoleCafe "Most of the public can't even spell gold yet" The gold (or lack of it) in Fort Knox has n't been audited since 1955!
  3. There is a BDEV.L residential development in progress at the bottom of the estate where I live. By the increase in volume of noise and the number of people, machines and materials that have been moving around on the site the action seems to have picked up immensely in the past few weeks. In fact a sales office and what appears to be a couple of show homes have sprung up behind it in a very short space of time. Bloody annoying if you want a lie in during the week
  4. I think the gaps are only there because GLD is traded in NYSE market hours where as spot gold is traded 24 hours 5 days per week so gaps in GLD are irrelevant?
  5. Speaking to Bloomberg at Davos, Barrick Gold chairman Harry Munk says it is only a matter of time before gold breaches the $1,000 barrier. But wealthy investors only want physical gold - not certificates or contracts - in their safes: http://www.citywire.co.uk/personal/-/news/...0&ea=204893
  6. Anyone know or have an idea where the volume feed comes from for gold and silver on livecharts.co.uk, CRIMEX?
  7. The Canadian expat involved had the assets of his private foundation sequestered on the alleged charge that he had slandered HSBC in Panama City on yahoo forums. A private foundation has a separate legal identity from the person who sets it up (or is supposed to have) and of course should be completely private. The defendant claims (rightly so IMO)not to be acting on behalf of his foundation when posting on the internet under his own name. Even if he was to be found guilty of the charges there should be no connection to the foundation. This poor guy has not had access to his assets for a long time awaiting a trial date. So my conclusion is it's probably not a safe jurisdiction for asset protection.
  8. Were n't Dubia a large purchaser of Gold just recently. Perhaps one of series of stealth moves to facilitate the dumping of fiat in favour of gold.
  9. "Probably" is the operative word IMHO. http://narcosphere.narconews.com/notebook/...y-launderers-jo
  10. That is a very good question IMO, if bullion can be transfered between Viamats' Zurich airport facility and BVs' Viamat swiss account (under bailment conditions) without breaking the chain of integrity it could be held outside of UK legal jurisdiction. Anyone...... One other thing which I think I'm correct in saying is that any monies held in cash with GM will not be covered by the FSCS in the event of the offshore bank they use going bust, Cater Allen I believe? On the dichotomy companies find themselves with regard to letters of credit, I wonder if anyone has told them to investigate the possibility of transacting through GM. This would gave those companys the edge and encourage others into the fold and could be the catalyst to bringing gold back as real money by popular demand. That would send the anal fribrillations of the banking establishment off the chart.
  11. Is the CRIMEX due to blow up on the 28th, Re: December futures?
  12. Is this the emergence of the first US property bull? http://www.citywire.co.uk/personal/-/news/...2&ea=204893
  13. Here's another one on Technical Analysis: Indicators And Oscillators. http://www.investopedia.com/university/tec...hanalysis10.asp
  14. Thanks for that, it was something I was curious about but have n't got around to investigating. It is nice when another member who knows the answer is willing to be helpful and share. Despite the answer being in one simple sentence requiring a small amount of time it has not only enlightened me but I'm sure many others not only here but on the www.
  15. I've got more physical than I can eat so if it gets below 700 I'll be considering going double long.
  16. John Embry reckons traders on CRIMEX may soon want to take delivery, hoorah! December contract perhaps. 11 mins. in:- http://watch.bnn.ca/commodities-report/oct...008/#clip104603 THE PHYSICAL MARKET IS THE FREE MARKET AND IT WILL BE THE WINNER IN THE END !
  17. Now that's a good idea David: This should cause some anal sphincter fibrillations (new oscillator) among the shorts.... CRIMEX look out http://www.moneyandmarkets.com/yes-we-have-no-silver-2-27680
  18. http://tfnn.s3.amazonaws.com/TOS101708.mp3 Listen to Larry P. about 1hr 15 mins in, should alleviate some pain.
  19. http://tfnn.s3.amazonaws.com/TOS101708.mp3 For future reference click on http://www.tfnn.com/listen_live.php sign in then click on radio archives in the top left corner then scroll down to T O's shows near the bottom of the page, you can stream in windows or download as an mp3.
  20. Might be a market for high line wellies. (No offense meant to our celtic bretheren) Tom O'Brien in his show 17.10.08 1hr:33mins in argues we're going back up to $920... this might be useful:- Excellent opinion on oil and commodities after that. If you go back to 1:15 Larry P reckons silver is set up for an easy $13 rise! Enjoy.
  21. Cash was king - now gold is God Gold and silver traders are frazzled trying to locate, buy and ship stores of gold, whether coins or bars http://www.thefirstpost.co.uk/45599,opinio...-inflation-soar
