  1. If you want to trade this, you want to kiss the apex on the corner sweetly like an F1 driver, or pull the trigger when you see the whites of the enemies eye. One could buy close to $1500 as you dare, and your stop isn't far away at $1490 so your downside immediately mitigates your loss, and you have a target 2x your risk. I don't do bottom fishing in a trading range, as it isn't my style, but that is how you could play it.
  2. These are my forecasts, valid for the next 3 months (just for educational purposes, and not investment advice). GOLD$ - Neutral stance, until it closes weekly under $1490/Toz I would be bearish, above $1810/Toz I would be bullish. GOLD£ - Neutral stance, until it closes weekly under £990/Toz I would be bearish, above £1100/Toz I would be bullish.
  3. ^Stockcharts added the trend lines, I didn't, and I don't use them.
  4. If I get time I will put up a point and figure chart, which compresses time. I never really found price channels useful on bar or candle charts. Sideways price consolidation can last many years and not necessarily mean it is bullish or bearish but neutral.
  5. All the goldbugs will be back when gold makes new highs, mark my words. Profit loves company.
  6. I want to add that the strongest is GFRD in the last two years; They say one should follow the strongest from a group, rather than play the weakest.
  7. Hmm the price chart of the builders is at odds to the, what we believe are the fundamentals. I have come to my own conclusion, one should be long the home builders. I was shocked to hear Mr Weinstein (last Sat on FSN), and also Cockney Rebel from ADVFN (recognised profitable trader) come to the same separate conclusions. ^The Home construction sector index, NMX3720. NMX3720 constituents -> http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/prices-and-markets/stocks/indices/constituents-indices.html?index=NMX&industrySector=3720&page=1 Ignore Reckitt Benckiser which makes household products. GFRD, BDEV, PSN, less so TW., BVS, BWY, are heading up.
  8. A few observations. 1. Goldseek radio (GSR) have introduced a new x-list Exploder stock list, which comprises of mostly penny stocks to which Chris Waltzek admitted. This very similar to what picks I have (UK picks http://illuminatedcapital.blogspot.com/ ). I have no subscription to the x-list Exploder list ; http://radio.goldseek.com/ It has been so successful in the last 6 months "no back testing is needed", it seems next weeks GSR podcast "may be the last". After "letters" and call ins - 21st Jan 2011 2. Small caps are in a new bull trend - how long this will last I do not know. AIM All share small cap index (UK) http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/charts/bi...&mocktick=1 3. Why is gold correcting in the first quarter, a time when gold should be strong? Don't know. It is possible, there's profit taking and puting funds into gold stocks which have been largely lagging. 4. Why are small caps in general going up? GSR states IT, Biotech, mining are going up. Perhaps as people move away or been hit hard by capital investments in real estate, and small investment in smallcaps are much more an affordable option. 9. 3 waves up,....... 2 waves down, elliot?
  10. If you have a printing press it is easier to use it, and worry about the consequences later.
  11. That's almost a inverse head and shoulders like what we saw gold power through $1000. A weekly close of $19 we'll see $24.
  12. Stick with the long secular trend [up] unless otherwise
  13. Haha, funny. Needs a full hour! Oh faber is wrong, world is not going to end.... awaiting faber to log on and argue with that!
  14. Yeah i took some profits yesterday in gold. The cash will be used to buy some largely overlooked midcap stocks in the next week or so. If the market crashes in September, then even better.
  15. I will buy more silver when Ted goes bearish.
  16. That's bad news - anyone overweight in gold, should now sell and buy property.
  17. From: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTkfSo6Z2Cg Silver Porn - who's the apologetic voice? Sounds like Hugh Grant
  18. Come on, understanding what you are investing in is the No.1 rule ? I've no idea how Goldmoney works - can someone verify? I have no money in this company.
  19. This chap who runs the FKN News [spoof of BBC] knows exactly about the slavery and debt monetary system. He produces a weekly show on youtube. Theres over 100 shows over the last 2-3 years. From:
  20. Not a lot, but if everybody felt they were exposed, and had to buy some [from a near zero holding] - there's not enough to go around.
  21. Interesting find! I don't vist GIM as much as I should as I don't have a log in. Still waiting for registration to be opened.
