9) Please Do Not Ask For Us To Ship Out Of The U.S., As We Will Not Under Any Circumstance Or Situation. We Will ONLY Ship To A U.S. Depository Of Your Choice.

Surely getting a US depository to ship to your destination of choice shouldn't be beyond the wit of man?

As I have just asked cg on another thread - like cg you are very insulting to TA users when their predictions are bearish.

I take it that bullish TA is acceptable?

(1) I usually try not to insult anyone.

(2) I am no real believer in TA, especially not if it isn't paired with a very healthy dose of fundamental analysis.

(3) People on this board know exactly where I stand. I provide the charts as an alternative view to the 'standard' charts. They also provide a good big picture overview IMO.

(4) Yes, only bullish TA is acceptable!

I personally think there is far too much of a fixation with price on this thread.

Gold is gold, after all. The price is almost irrelevant. I would buy it if it dropped to $50 an ounce just as quickly as I would buy it if it went back to $1000.

Do you have unlimited funds? Or are you talking about merely the desire to buy.

I watch the COT and open interest reports. In my experience, when they show extremes, like now, it is always followed by a big move.

We will see a breathtaking rally in the next few weeks.

100% guaranteed ;)

An interesting visual representation of the long USD/short gold trade:

Some of my fellow Silver & Gold buddies may like to look at this:

My one is on its way to me!

Just the one? Can't fit any more in the truck?

First google hit for "silver vat rate" is GEI! It's something to do with quotas, German tax rates and possibly a typo I think

Bob Moriarty: Laying Out a Feast for Bears and Gold Bugs

In this exclusive interview with The Gold Report, 321gold.com founder Bob Moriarty provides abundant food for thought about the continuing U.S. financial debacle.

Medium Length interview: he seems to mention most things: recent highs in Oz dollar & GDP, cheap juniors, hedge fund deleverage, $596 trillion in derivatives, bankupt USA, dollar death, money supply increase, mal investments, state bailouts, gold standard, Bretton Woods, price inflation, physical holding as insurance, peak oil - you know - the usual stuff.

BM: The correction is going to be that it will go back down, and I think it’s going to be a catastrophic decline. Barron’s had a piece recently talking about Taiwan now selling Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac bonds and Treasury bonds. If that continues or if other countries start doing it, it will be catastrophic for the dollar. I think the U.S. is going to default entirely within the next nine to 10 months. Here’s the situation. The U.S. is bankrupt. As anybody who looks at our debts and obligations should be aware, sooner or later we’re going to have to declare bankruptcy.

Nice call here.

I think he had a bad day

Here's another good read:

http://www.kitco.com/ind/Radomski/nov072008.html

Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to dump most of my money back into the BlackRock Gold & General fund - I've just seen too many false dawns (and rockets) and lost quite a bit by a strengthening dollar which I didn't understand at the time. I need to know the top is definitely in on the USDX - nothing I am reading says that it is and it could still break either way.

That seems reasonable to me. Everything seems to be pointing towards a medium term rally in stocks followed by a full on cratering next year, 1929 style. We've already seen how the dollar can act in this kind of situation.

Sure, the paper gold dollar price could potentially go lower but I would be certain you wont be able to buy 1 ounce gold Britannias for less than £500 again.
